This is my first foray into something a bit more expensive. It feels good on my skin. However, it doesn't seem to go very far. I'd rather have a squirt-type bottle, because the spray nozzle is poorly made and hard to direct. Ah well, I do like it and will enjoy it while it lasts.

This is my favorite suntanning oil. A little goes a long way. I feel moisturized and it feels fabulous on my skin! The bottle is so small it fits in my purse, and it even smells good!

I've used Bain de Soleil my entire life, so this product had some hard competition. I know nothing can compare to Bain de Soleil so I tried to enjoy this as objectively as possible. This is a straight up oil. However, it is very skily and rubs in incredibly well and does not feel greasy in any way. In this respect, this is better than Bain de Soleil. However, unlike Bain de Soleil, it does not give you that orange glisten. The scent was also a big part for me since I loved the smell of Bain de Soleil. This one starts out very old lady, so I was dissapointed. But when I smelled it 30 minutes later it was fresh and smelled like a very good summery sun's cream. After some more time, it fades to a soft almost Neutrogena smell, which I also love. Rather pleasant overall and not offensive. As for the tan you get to go along with it, I havent used it in the sun yet, but plan on going out very soon. So far, it is promising!!

. I liked Hampton Sun even more than Ban de Soleil. It’s non greasy but emollient. It’s a nice choice for winter sun. Would not be strong enough for summer sun or if you are very fair complected.

I have been A Bain de soleil 4 orange gelee user for at least 35 years, fortunately I have quite a bit of it. However I was trying to find a replacement. I think this might be it. I love how it feels, it is not greasy I have only used it for a couple of days but I’m really impressed. I ordered four more bottles. I’m afraid if I like it they’ll discontinue this product too. Those of us that use SPF4, apparently are a dying breed!🤣🤣🤣

This stuff is over-priced and smells terrible; especially since the product suggests it’s a good “consolation prize” to the unfortunately discontinued Ban de Soleil. Also, using “Hampton's” in the brand name is very misleading. Anyone who’s ever been to the beach out there knows nasty smells will get you relegated to the uncool bay!

I am distraught Bayer discontinued Bain de Soliel. Hampton Sun has been reviewed as the closet dupe, so here is my review: It's oil, but it absorbs super quickly and leaves your skin soft. There is no residue on your chair, towel, etc. However, you don't glisten in the sun the way Bain de Soleil does. On the plus side, you don't need to shower it off bc it doesn't leave you slick. I never burned when I used Bain de Soleil, and even though they have the same SPF, I got a little burnt/red. I'm lucky to have olive skin, and it fades easily into a tan. But I felt the burning - maybe bc there was no reflection off my skin like when you have Bain de Soliel on (idk science?). Fragrance is just ok for me. Strong when you put it on, but fades quickly. All in all, still looking for a better replacement for Bain de Soleil, but will keep using Hampton Sun until then.
