These witch hats are great, especially for the price! Yes, they’re made of cheaper plastic, but it's the same material you’d find in most sets like this. If you're looking for something sturdier, you’ll probably need to buy individual hats. The set comes with clear string, but I used fishing wire I already had, which worked perfectly. I'm not buying these as toys are to wear. I decorated mine (mostly with stuff from Dollar Tree), and it really made them look more expensive! I'm planning on hanging them from the ceiling, and the good news is, you don’t need a needle to string them. There are tiny openings at the top—so small that you won’t even notice them, but just push the wire through, and it’ll work. I made a few knots to keep them from slipping off. These were such a great price for what you get! HANGING TIP: as the instructions say, you can push the hanging line provided in the package through the stitched seem on the edge near the tip of the hat and back out to tie a loop. You don’t have to cut the hats. These look so cute hanging on my front porch along with the little bats. I used a thumb tack to punch a hole through the bat heads for easy hanging. The witch hats are cute, and we are pleased with them. The bats are not as large as pictured. In fact, they are much, much smaller and wouldn't be seen at all so we won't be using them as part of our porch decorationd. So "boo" on those, but the hats are a real treat!

We hung these under our front porch! The kids loved wearing and hanging them! There are several bats as well which were so fun! There was no hook to hang them, so we used another reviewers advice and just poked paper clips through the top! It worked good!! Good amount of decor for the money! I really love these and how many they came with. Super easy to pop up and hang with fishing line and 3M hooks. They are lightweight fabric and hold up. The bats they come with are nice as well for a single Halloween season and I would get this set again for the price.
