Why did I buy it? I wanted to try a table that was easy to move because it is possible we will relocate in the next few years. There is no selling a slate table. You basically have to give them away. It costs $1000 to move them and have them set up properly, hoping there is no damage. I also want to try a table in the space. If I decide not to move, I will sell this at 50% easily and invest in slate. My “do not” list. Do NOT buy this or any mdf table if the following applies to you: you live in a high humidity area; you have trouble lifting or don’t have access to handyman services; you aren’t willing to buy better balls or cues; you plan to keep it more than 3-5 years; you don’t mind throwing it out when your kid tears the felt. You don’t know how to read a level and aren’t willing to adjust legs as needed. Pros: 1) table goes together easily and quickly (1 hour with help) 2) hardware and legs are excellent quality. They could have built the legs out of hardwood for about $75 more but that would be even less stable with humidity changes. Particle board is actually the better choice for material stability. 3) the bumpers are nice. 4) the plastic frame is a good choice and adds durability without looking cheap. Cons: 1) cloth quality is pretty low, but so is any slate table under $3000. 2) this table could be improved by allowing the user to build the base perfectly to level before installing the playing surface. Due to the assembly method, all leveling has to happen after. 3) the cues and balls are unbelievably bad. The cue can’t weigh more than 8-10oz. But they have to cut costs somewhere to keep it under $1000. 4) the feet need to be much larger. They are going for form over function and it impacts leveling and stability, especially on carpet. Delivery: two weeks early, dropped it where we asked with zero damage. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Without question. Note to all mdf pool table mfg. If you don’t solve this issue, I’m going into business and putting you all out of business. All you have to do is add weight and stability to make these tables better. If you laminate 2-3 sheets of 3/4 mdf together, you will add enough mass and stability to rival slate playability while staying under $1500. And it will still weigh half of slate and be shipping friendly. It only adds about 200 pounds. Also, the surface could be improved with a 1-1.5mm smooth laminate. Sure there is risk of air pockets between laminate and mdf (think 1980s countertops), but there are adhesives that will solve that. I think the idea is there, but we are a few iterations away from a good mdf table and at least a decade away from a great one. This seems easy to me. At 300lbs, it already takes a team to move and build this. Why not add the extra 150-200 lbs? It’s still not close to slate, which starts at 1000lbs. Oh well. If you know what you’re getting, it is easily worth the $790 I paid for it. Got it on sale and spent the $200 discount on bar cues and dynasphere tungstens. Love mine. Good luck ... show more

  • Modern mini pool table for game night
Style: 4 Ft. Charleston
I bought this for game night and it was a great buy. The table is sturdy doesn’t look cheap. My husband is 6’3 and was able to play without feeling awkward. Only downside is that I got one pool stick not two and it’s on the cheap side. The pockets for the balls aren’t deep enough but it’s not that serious. ... show more

  • Fun Family Activity
Style: 7 Ft. Edgewood
I'm pretty happy with purchase overall. Other than rack being broken, no real issues with shipment to home garage. Pockets are smallish. Accessories are cheapish. But table materials are generally good quality and very sturdy when finally assembled. Setup was fairly easy given a little extra muscle and patience when connecting legs to table. Minimal balance adjustment was required. Felt and bumper play are pretty good for a table at this price point. Overall great value when purchase price combined with $100 PRIME account sign up discount and free shipping. ... show more

  • Very nice table. So so accessories.
Style: 7 Ft. Edgewood
Beautiful table! Definitely the centerpiece of the room that'll get many compliments. Sturdy, adjustable, plays straight. Assembly was a task alone, it's heavy. It can be done though. Inspect the entire table BEFORE starting assembly. Seems like a no brainier, but it's wrapped in plastic and the table is the last thing you need to touch when assembling. I got mine all together only to find out if was damaged smh. Exchange was fairly smooth. Cues that it comes with are very light so plan on buying some separately. Pockets are small, but can fit four or five balls. The felt came off a little on the first few brushes, but it isn't so bad now. Not sure if that's normal or not. ... show more

  • Throw away item :(
Style: 7 Ft. Edgewood
Great looking, terrible quality. I loved it the second I put it together and for about 3 weeks after that. It’s still a functional table, but the felt is very low quality, and the pockets make the table a throw away item. A few reviews talk about the small pockets, which is true, they can fit 2-3 balls before they will not accept any more, annoying, but not hard to deal with. My issue with the pockets is that now, less that 6 months after purchasing it, The pockets are torn apart. The cheap, paper thin material used to make the pocket baskets have torn off the table, torn at the seams, and now my pool balls fall to the floor underneath the table out of most of my pockets. It’s really a bummer because while, yeah, it’s a table for less that a grand. It lasted me less than 6 months, and renting one from a bar supplier would be cheaper. The pockets are not replaceable from what I can tell. The felt is also extremely thin and poor quality and will tear if you drop a chalk square on it (literally). ... show more

  • Perfect for my small apartment
Style: 4 Ft. Charleston
The Charleston mini table was easy for me to set up with no assistance. I realize this table for what it is and am impressed with the results. It has the look of a full sized able, but is the perfect size for my small apartment. It resides in the "dining" area of my apartment if that helps you with scale. The pocket nets are plastic and secured so I'm not worried about the balls falling out. The balls are a mini version of the balls found for a full sized table and has the weight for shooting decently. The cues feel light, but that's ok. As we start to play, that seems like an easy upgrade. If I have to have a negative thing to say in this moment, there was alot of Styrofoam in the packing and the bis were all over the place, but no big deal to clean, not good for environment lol... So far, so good, but than again, I just got it 😊 ... show more
