The last few years I have noticed my hair thinning a bit. When I saw the Cicamed hair loss spray I thought I would try it before the problem got any worse. The product description promises that the spray boosts scalp circulation to stimulate hair growth, with the most prominent active ingredient being Procapil. The Cicamed spray differs from the famous name brand hair growth product in that Procapil is botanical and the other one is a synthetic. I found that appealing. The fact that it is made in Sweden adds to that appeal. The spray is easy to apply, but it seems to be that most of the product settled on my hair rather than on the scalp. The spray is a fine mist, sort of like a non-aerosol hair spray. I had to part my hair carefully and aim deliberately to get it directly on the scalp to massage it in. Instructions didn’t specify how much to apply, so I just guessed. I think a heavier serum or gel would have resulted in more evenly distributed coverage. The spray is colorless, odorless, and dries quickly. It does not cause any dullness or buildup on the hair, so I was OK using it right before I styled my hair. Instructions are to apply twice a day for two months and once a day thereafter. After a couple of weeks’ use, I really haven’t see any regrowth, but I understand it can take months for significant improvement. The price is reasonable, so it won’t break the bank to continue use. I still have high hopes that it will eventually work for me.

There’s some very nice ingredients in this leaf spray. The niacinamide, caffeine, and the Camellia sinesis leaf extract (which is high caffeine) will help stimulate growth of existing hairs. The squalene mimics the lipids on your own skin, so that’s nice and gentle in your scalp claims say that it’s formulated with a vitamin bearing peptide complex to reduce hair loss, but the only thing that’s clinically proven is that it strengthens and improves the quality of the hair. It might look fuller, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it will grow hair. If you really wanna grow hair, minoxidil is a better bet and it’s not any more expensive. Depending upon what form you get, it can be much less expensive. I’m not a big fan of anything that you leave in, and this is basically a leave in scalp treatment. It does make your scalp feel cleaner, but you have to work really hard to get it on your scalp. If you spray on your scalp, chances are you going to get most of it on your hair. I sprayed it on my hand, got it on my fingers, and then use my fingers to massage it into my scalp. I think that works a lot better. This company also makes a shampoo and a conditioner, which I would expect would do the same things to make your hair look better. If you want to grow new hair, minoxidil will be better. But it does nothing to make your hair look better. So if you want to make your hair look better, it’s probably worth looking at their shampoo and their conditioner and compare the ingredients. Bottom line, it has good ingredients, it doesn’t have any bad ingredients like sulfate, and it made my hair look nice. But I don’t expect it to grow any new hair.. The price is OK, but it’s not spectacular.. It’s about what I expected from a non-minoxidil product.

This is a nice scalp spray : it doesn’t seem like it’s scented but it does smell slightly like something . It is a very watery liquid with a sprayer . It doesn’t make my hair feel or look dirty and it absorbs nicely into my scalp . The size of the bottle is pretty good . I think I will get quite a bit out of this .
