I normally wear a 38, but the 38R in this style was just a little big on me. I do like the look and feel of the coat, it just runs slightly large, to the point where I don't know that I would wear it without maybe an extra layer or thick shirt to help bulk it out.     • Pretty sharp for between business casual and formal wear

This Haggar Men's sportcoat is a lightweight jacket that works well when you need a step above simple business casual, but you don't want to use a formal suit. I received the silver color in a tall size. The jacket arrived in a surprisingly slim box and was inside a ripped up plastic bag. Luckily, it doesn't seem like it was damaged during transport. This is definitely a lightweight sportcoat and not really a formal suit separate. But I think the fit and silver color are pretty sharp and can look good with jeans or with various khakis or dress pants, with t-shirts, polos, or dress shirts underneath. The color is well suited for spring and summer months. The jacket had several stitched-on tags that you'll have to remove, the back tails are stitched to the body, and all of the pockets are sewn shut. I tried to open them with tiny scissors, but that didn't work well. You'll want a stitch remover to make sure to release the pockets and back tail without causing any damage. I received a 44L, and the tailored fit was mostly what I expected. 44L is my usual size for sportcoats and suit jackets, and the 44 here fit well in the armpits and chest. I think the L is ideal for someone in the 6'2" - 6'3" range. It will kinda work for guys around 6'4", but I'd say that's the limit before you need to look for an extra long. If you are 6'1" with longer arms, you might want to consider tall size. There are front pockets on both sides with cover flaps. There are interior breast pockets on each side, and the inside right breast pocket has a button flap that you can use to secure something valuable. Overall, it looks good with one button closing it up, and works well if you unbutton it before sitting down. And obviously, it's dry clean only. But really...if you need something that will work for a fancier restaurant business meeting that would be odd for a full suit, but at the same time just wearing a dress shirt and slacks would come up short, this is the perfect jacket for that. ... show more

I've been in need of a sport coat for a while as my other one is getting a bit worn out. This is a quality-made sport coat that provides great value. It has good stitching and feels to be made from durable materials. I like the print and this has a sharp, professional look to it. The fit is comfortable and allows me to move freely without worrying about damaging the seems. I'm very happy with this jacket. It's comfortable and well made. I only needed to get the sleeves tailored to the length I need, but that goes with anything you buy off the rack. This is a great jacket that should style easily for work and casual.
