This dress is a great fall basic that can be dressed up or dressed down. It's super soft and has discreet pockets that don't make the dress look bulky. My only gripe is that it runs a little large and I would have loved the sleeves/top to be a little more fitted. For reference, I ordered my normal size which is a small. On its own this dress looks too much like a nightgown. As someone short, I'm 5'4" I need a jacket, scarf, or statement necklace to break up the long line of fabric. The waist is asymmetrical, and it is designed that way. Upon seeing me in this for the first time, both my husband and daughter said, "the waist is crooked!" I show this plain and then accessorized as I might wear it to school. I like it with my pink canvas sneakers and a jean jacket. I could also pair this with a little cardigan and ankle boots. Made in China from a polyester, rayon, spandex blend, the fabric is soft and feels like a jersey tshirt type fabric. I machine washed this in cold water and hung it to dry, there was minimal shrinkage and no color fading. There was a bit of pilling, especially under the arms where there is friction. Overall its a cute wardrobe basic, one that I'm sure to get a lot of use out of. For size reference I am 150lbs, pear shaped, 36b. I am wearing the purple dress in a size medium. My wife is 114lbs and 5’4. She got a small and it was still too big for her as far as it’s too wide on the top. She is disappointed,as it is a lovely dress for fall. The material is high quality, thin and breathable. It is long sleeve and crew neck style. There are ruffles on the flowy skirt and two pockets.
