This stabilizer is reasonably priced. I have been doing copious amounts of free standing lace projects. This one in perfect for it. It washes away with little effort and leaves the designs adorable.

I just used it for the first time. It hooped easily. I like the weight. I soaked it overnight but there’s still some stickiness. I will try again tomorrow with warm water.
