It's similar to the 20 inch wide stuff I buy by the yard. It's a little heavier, but I wanted that. It's soft and flexible. My only issue is it measures 11 3/4 inches wide. But it does fit my largest hoop. Just. But I like that there is no waste. Haven't used it yet, but expect to in the next few days. Update...used it yesterday. Worked fine. No issues.
