Bought for a Can Am Ryker Sport…installed and test road over varied surfaces and speeds. These nice looking shocks may be ok in other applications but did not improve the Ryker’s ride. For whatever reason, I experienced more shaking in the bars and a wandering in the turns…not confidence inspiring. I am a retired mechanic and an avid biker for 50+ years. I thought my stock front shock springs were too weak (37k miles). I’m now saving for model specific springs. Cheers:) UPDATE!! 03/31/26…Well I am chagrined:). Turns out that I neglected to check the pressure in the little gold tanks! Also after reading the GZYF literature online and noting the maximums on the tanks and springs I began to experiment…adding the max amount of air to the tanks made ALL the difference in the ride! Around town and open highway ride became what I had hoped for. I used a small air pump, used on my mountain bike tiny shock, to adjust the pressures. I am now 6psi down from the max. Read the literature and make sure you understand the pressures they give so that you can convert to psi. For the looks, money and performance I change my rating to 5 stars. Cheers!:)

I installed them on my 1968 BSA Victor, it transformed the bike! They soak up small bumps well and allow much better control over larger ones. Keep in mind that the shocks replaced a set of 48 year old Girlings. I had to drill out the extra bottom spacers supplied with the shocks and had to machine new spacers for the top mounting bolts. I did this on my lathe. The shocks came very quickly and the over all quality seems to be very good. Don't expect to compare to Olins, but these are great for the money. Very happy with my purchase.

Specs are deceiving, wouldn't even support the weight of a 800lb machine on the front. 8mm spring performs like a 6mm. Very weak shock.

"Gas" cannister is just for show, does not actually function. Very little difference between hardest and softest ride setting. They look pretty good. Unfortunately, after a year of use one has seized up. the second set I bought are still going strong after a year.

One of the only cheap shocks you'll get that actually have air valves. They seem like they are made from failry good materials although noticeably cheaper than name brand. I wouldnt risk running them on anything heavy but a 300cc atv or smaller, or a motorcycle, these are perfect

Perfect fit! I've got a 2001 Honda Foreman 450ES. I'm a big guy, 6'4" 300ish lbs. These are 400mm shocks and the OEM called for 394mm shocks. I've already got a inch lift but these being just a bit long I haven't needed to adjust the preload at all. Haven't even check the pressure in the can. The feel a lot firmer than the ones I removed which is what I needed, cuz I'm a big guy. Highly recommend if you need a little extra firmness.
