    • PROS AND CONS, THOUGH I WOULD BUY AGAIN!

We use it, and it'd be great for travel. I like the extra two inches for learning. Only downside is keeping the ends down perfectly flat, but we have hard wood floors. I gotta see if I can figure out a way to make it stay down and not slip at all, so it is safer for learning hard tricks like back handpsprings, that are far too scary right now for my 7 year olds to try on the 4 inch. I would buy again, but I wish the ends were weighted or something. That would work great! ... show more

    • scouring pads or balance beam you decide!

Opened the box and thought they sent me industrial cleaning pads in a roll. Looked up my order and I did order this.. where did I go wrong?? The surface is soft but not suitable for turning or sliding on. It would feel like a carpet burn if you did more than one if you even could. The pad was very soft and collapsed under the weight of my 10 year old. My 5 year old thought it was great for walking back and forth on but the end wouldn't even stay down for that to full work. If you have an aspiring gymnast spend the extra 8 or 10 bucks to get the ones that fold in half. This wasn't even worth my time. very disappointed in the quality for the cost. ... show more

It was much lighter than I though, which on the one hand I liked, but I also wonder how long it will last. on wooden floor, the part you are not standing on moves around a bit while walking over it. My 2 year old also find other ways to play with it. So far so good.
