My first impression of this was “wow, that sure is a lot of useful stuff for such a good price”. Some of it won’t be used until it’s needed some time going forward. But I’ll be honest about what I am using. The cleaning brushes they provide are way too big to clean out the jets in a carburetor. They might be useful for other tasks though. The carburetor itself seems built well and works. I would recommend sticking to your air box over using the provided filter unless you want to adjust your carburetor a lot more. It becomes finicky with small can type filters and you will end up running lean or rich more often than you would with a regular filter system. Unless you’re racing and tune your carb daily you should just use the OEM filter. The ID of the fuel line is too large for the OD of the carburetor and the clamps are too big for the line. The fuel line itself seems like its quality material as it’s nice and thick. It’s too bad that I can’t actually use it. The vacuum line connector coming off of the new intake manifold is on the opposite side from the one I had originally. If you’re sitting on the bike it’s on the right-hand side. The positioning peg for the throttle assembly is on the top when my bike has the hole on the bottom. I can’t use it because of that. The throttle cable itself seems to be made well and the carburetor is working right out of the box which is more than I can say for the last one (different supplier) that I ordered. The jet kit seems to be nice. They all thread in easily and there aren’t any noticeable problems with them. Overall I’d say this is probably a 3 out of 5 but I’ll give it 5 so they don’t hide the review. You get what you pay for.

works for pretty much every chinese brand of scooter I've ever heard of. the kit includes everything pictured, which pretty much other than the motor and the frame is everything you need for one of these things. made my motor run WAY better, I had no idea how badly I needed this set up. everything included, even extra jets to help with adjusting the carburator, brushes for cleaning them etc etc. very nice kit and everything seems much better quality than i was expecting it to be. the mini air filter is adorable!

I got this kit for my Roketa scooter. I was having an issue with the scooter and thought with all the included parts in this kit, I might have what I need to fix it, plus have some good standby parts. I never ended up needing the carb, at least not yet. It does appear to be well made and machined well. It has the electric choke, multiple jets and hoses included. Much better than a previous carb I purchased. The air filter is really nice with the aluminum body, aluminum screen and paper filter material and fit the bike perfectly. The air filter is also easy to clean. I also replaced the handle bar grips with this set, and they are easier to grip and look good. The nylon bushings of the grips fit over the bars perfectly. The materials of the grips are plastic, yet function well. The kit also came with tools, a brush kit for cleaning the carb, spark plug, throttle cable with zip ties to tac it down and route the cable, fuel filters, gaskets, fuel tank petcock, and a throttle housing. Of the parts I have used so far, they are a perfect match and were easy to install.

My little 50cc GY6 scooter eats carburetors. I replace mine about once a year. because it's faster and cheaper than properly cleaning out the existing carb. A replacement carb costs about $20 these days; this kit costs $33 (before discounts). Is it worth it? I think so. I purchased this kit primarily for the carburetor. However, I really liked the fact that it came with a variety of jets (normally a $6.99 value). I had just rebuilt the motor, so I didn't need the replacement intake (normally $4.99-6.99), the fuel line (silicone, normally about $3 for this length),the vacuum fuel petcock ($3.99-6.99), the air filter ($4.99-7.99), the throttle cable ($5.99=8.99), or the carb cleaning brushes (about $3 most places). I definitely didn't need the new handlebar grips (normally $6.99-10.99) or the included tools (12mm/14mm wrench and hex wrench). There's a lot of stuff in this kit! The carb seems to work well--I've tried three different jets in it so far, and it's behaved well with all of them. Changing jets takes just a few minutes; most of the time (15-20 minutes, once you've done this a few times) is spent removing and installing the carb itself. Having just installed the carb, it's hard to predict how long it will last before the ethanol-added regular unleaded gas I run in my scooter gums up one of the carb passages. That's the point at which I'll make use of the carb cleaning brushes. Overall, there's a lot of value here--if you are likely to need any of the additional parts included with the carburetor. Recommended.
