If you have an extra hour to pry nine feet of garland from a shoebox, this item is for you. Then spend the next hour pulling hundreds of branches from the center stalk, while losing berries and pine cones along the way. I gave them 2 stars because after you spend hours separating branches, and gluing items back on, it actually looks pretty good.

As other reviewers noted, these garlands look better from a distance. They’re shiny and quite plastic looking up close. That would have been ok except for the fact that two of three purchased garlands appear to have been returns that were modified. One garland unfolded nicely into one long length that was easy to work with. The other two are knotted into loops that are virtually impossible to unwrap. It’s just disappointing and I don’t have the time or energy to return them.

For people saying it look more "real" from further away, that's true. But for me, the appeal is sort of midcentury modern. It's no supposed to necessarily look real. It's very stylized. It really added so much light and cheer to our home.
