I purchased this expensive pair and a cheaper pair of a diferent brand, J and S or something to that affect. These are 65% blockers @ 69.99$, the others are 90% blockers @ 29.99$. The 65% are lighter but feel more plasticky. The lens of the left front top sticks off of the frame a bit, for 69.99$ i would not expect this to occur, one drop and im pretty sure the lens will pop out. Will update if so. My right eye would experience pain or strain after a little while with the 29.99$ pair, these 69.99$ do not cause eye pain, not sure why, the only diference is the 65% and 90% blocking ability. The 65% is well packaged but i think they use to much capital making a fancy box and should instead make a stronger feeling frame. For 69.99 you gat a carry pouch, for 29.99 i received a full fledged case that is super sturdy and very durable. Not sure if i recommend these yet, i will post back. One more thing...they are bigger then they appear, for reference, my hat size is 7-3/4, which is a small head, and these look big, not huge but big. ... show more

lens worked as expected. this was my second pair. I used these glasses about 2x a week and have had them for the past 4months. Frame cracked near left side hinge and is now useless...i had bought the Gunnar hard case to store the glasses after each use. Given the price, I thought I would get more time out of these, but now I know that the more you spend, does not mean the better quality, the product is. ... show more

    • If you think you have a big head, I do not recommend.
The size of the eye wear is too tight for my head. I actually have not been able to use it for a long time since I've purchased it. It would be painful everytime I use it for over an hour. I ended up buying another pair from elsewhere.

    • Sturdy... Gunnar is getting back to making solid frames.
It's about Time that Gunnar started making strong frames again. When they first came out I loved them for their solid structure and quality lenses. Then they went through a period of making cheap thin frames. I sent those back every time. But these are sturdy and great for everyday use. So far I love them. ... show more

1st pair I bought was gunnar but not this style. Nose piece broke off. No response from Gunnar. Thought I'd try these next since the nose piece is molded in. Seemed better than last pair. Had them resting on my head, heard a noise, checked them over and the frame cracked while resting on my head. Wont be paying this much cor anymore gunnar glasses. Lenses do seem very good but gunnarsson frames seem to be junk. Plus nobody answers to stand behind their product. ... show more

Comfortable, sticks to your head well, and the lenses really do reduce glare and help a lot. I wear these all the time now. Plus they look good IMO.
