I've been using the standard camping chairs for many years, and never liked how narrow they are - the metal backing always would jab me in my shoulder blades, so was looking for something that I could enjoy more when I needed a camping chair. Well this oversized chair was like going from coach class to first class! I'm 6ft tall and when I sit in this thing, I can lean my head back, and it comfortably rests against the padded backing which is awesome (no more dealing with my head hanging over the top back of the chair). It's extra wide (so wide my 13 year old son could sit in the chair with me if I really wanted two people in the chair). The only negative is due to the size of this chair, it's pretty bulky to carry somewhere. But they did a great job providing you with an oversized bag to store the chair, and it's easy to take the chair out, and put it back in when you are done. There are straps around the bag to tighten things down, so it does help to minimize the bulk when it's properly stored. The only other negative is now my wife and son want one, so it looks like I'll need to buy two more of these lol. ... show more

I got this for my husband. He's almost 300 pounds. It's very comfortable. Very sturdy. It is on the heavier side and we don't even bother putting it back in the bag it came in. It takes a while . Definitely worth the money.
