    • A good garment at a fair price
I bought this coverall to use on cold and/or rainy days. I bought extra large based upon what others have said. For me at 5’ 10” 200# I find them a bit long in the crotch and maybe 1-1.5” too long in the legs. They fit my torso slightly loose which is good to allow some extra room for layering. I find them very warm and comfortable and one could easily sleep wearing them. They’re rated as water proof but I haven’t had the chance to test that. The zippers appear to be of good quality. The hood is detachable and perhaps a bit oversized. Overall I’d definitely recommend these to guys that enjoy the outdoors. ... show more

My husband is 5’4” and about 170 lbs. the large fit him fine ( although too long- which at 5’4” is to be expected). He typically wears a thermal shirt and a light weight sweatshirt and jeans under the coveralls and is still able to move about comfortably. The chest area has pockets that can serve as hand warmers and the pants have fully zippered legs . There are side pockets that give access to the pants/jeans under the coveralls. My husband no longer hunts but does work outside and in an open air shop ( year round) and stays warm. ( our temps are as low as 25 degrees at times) ... show more

    • Really nice but big on me

Very nice suit. I ordered and received a Large. The large was big for me. Im 5'9 170lbs and its really long on me. I measered it and the total length is 66" from bot. of leg to top o shoulder. The in seam is 30" but the waist "belt line" measures 42 inches from the belt to the bottom of the leg. From the crotch up it seems like there's an extra foot of material that makes the legs really long because the crotch sags so low on the leg. I gotta say this suit seems really warm, really soft and just for the few minutes I had it on trying it I could tell it's gonna be warm. I'm a seasoned hunter in PA so those winters get cold. Im gonna try for the medium but amazon doesnt show the size chart for it. So im unsure how much smaller it will be from the large. Im sending it back but im sorry it didnt fit. The best purchase I've made this year by far. I've worn this ice fishing all day in a blizzard and was super comfortable the whole time. The material is soft, warm, and easy to move around in. The hood is great, and the sleeve extensions with the thumb holes make it so wind/snow doesn't get up your sleeves. Lots of zipper pockets and easy access to the pockets of the pants you're wearing underneath. Make sure to order one size up from your normal t-shirt or sweatshirt size, it'll fit perfect over your clothes. I will 100% buy other stuff from Guide Gear. ... show more

    • Very Warm, but Noisy Material & Hard to put on and take off
Great for cold Michigan temperatures. Not good for mild temperatures like beginning of fall. I had to unzip the top half and pull it off because I was too hot. In my opinion, the pockets are not adequate enough. Could use more pockets. Also, I'm 6 feet tall and it fit me perfectly, but it was a bit challenging to put on and take off. Trying to use the toilet is also very difficult. My biggest complaint is that the material is noisy, so the deer can hear you walking or just moving in general. This suit is no joke. Where I live it has only been cold enough a few times this winter to wear it. Someone commented not to wear it unless it is 20° or lower. Great set of coveralls!!!! Bought these before the storm of 2026 and almost got too warm if shoveling! Waterproof and warm! Plenty of pockets and love how easily they go on an come off because of the hip to ankle zippers. No doubt they are worth every penny!
