The shoes are comfortable but done have a ton of cushioning under your foot so if that’s something you prefer these may not be the best choice. They fit well. They’re a tiny bit looser than I would like but thick socks will help. Guess has inconsistent sizing unfortunately. I have 8 pairs of shoes from them and almost all of them fit differently. I don’t get how that’s possible with a long standing major brand. They look stylish and I think this style is till trendy. They’re decent quality. Not great quality, but the price reflects the quality that they are. The material the majority of the shoe is made from has a lot of stretch. It’s not scratchy or uncomfortable. The bottom are made from a firm foam type material. At less than $40 these are definitely a good deal and worth the price. Unfortunately mine came with some printing errors and a lot of stuff hanging on the soles. I was able to remove most of that fairly easily but I’m still working on removing the dye that’s above where it says Guess on the side. When I first unboxed this Guess Pause sneaker, my initial thought was, "This is either going to be a sleek, versatile everyday shoe, or a stiff, high-top situation that feels like I'm wearing ski boots around town." I've had enough knit sneakers to know that the "chunky sole" can sometimes mean "clunky and heavy," so I was cautiously optimistic. The good news is that this shoe is a solid win. The knit upper is soft and breathable, so it hugs your foot without any of that stiff, break-in period drama. The high-top design gives it a slightly sporty, streetwear edge without feeling bulky. And the chunky logo sole is the star of the show—it adds a nice lift and a bit of retro attitude, but it's still stable and easy to walk in. The back pull tab is a thoughtful detail, making it easy to slip them on without having to wrestle with laces. The PU and synthetic blend keeps them lightweight, and the EVA insole gives just enough cushioning for a full day of errands. They run true to size, and the slip-on closure means they're a grab-and-go option for when you can't be bothered. I'm hoping these hold up to the test of time and the knit doesn't stretch out or lose its shape. For the price point, it's a fun, comfortable sneaker that works with jeans, joggers, or even a casual dress. I have been a huge fan of the brand GUESS since the 90s, and my own mom since the 80s! I own multiple styles of GUESS shoes and they are all fantastic quality that holds up very well throughout the years. I love this khaki colored slip on boots! The fabric outer shell stretches but doesn’t get too loose when walking and also doesn’t compress my feet. I love the black and white logo tape with pull up loop on the back of each boot. The fun GUESS logo is on each boot only once on the outer right and the outer left—I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it but they look fantastic with cargo pants, leggings, slim ankle joggers, no shoe socks and even scrunchy socks! I have received many compliments on them! At first glance they didn’t seem like an obvious pick—but I’m smiling because I know they are actually an excellent pick! I’ve always been a huge fan of GUESS and they never disappoint when coming out with new product. This one is another perfect example! I am not sure what to do call it because it looks like if a sock fuses with a shoe to become a sock shoe. 😅 Every way it is a very interesting design and surprisingly fits my feet very well. When sliding my feet into them I am immediately greeted with well isolated memory foam that helps distribute pressure through out my feet. That means when I am going for long walks, it will reduce the pain that I suffer from. Next the arch support is decent as well, no pain or discomfort from that area too. Lastly, the size number that they arrived in is also 100% accurate! Something you usually don’t see with other brands. Overall, I am quite content with how these look and feel; it fits right into my crazy personality. 👍 ... show more

I really wanted to like these sneakers more than I do. I ordered my usual size 6.5, and I would say they run about a half size small. I’m normally a 6 to 6.5, but my toes are pressed right up against the edges of these, so I definitely wish I had sized up. Comfort is also not their strongest point. The foam bottoms feel pretty hard to me rather than soft and cushioned, so these aren’t sneakers I would choose for a lot of walking or being on my feet all day. They look cute and have a casual style that works with a lot of outfits, but the fit and comfort make them less appealing for everyday wear. For around $40, I don’t think they’re a terrible buy, especially if you like the look, but I’m just not as excited about these as I had hoped to be. I would recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes or want a little more room in the toe box. The quality is okay but I'm not a huge fan of the "natural" color - they'd definitely be better in black. 3 stars from me. ... show more
