I hate to shred papers all the time for just getting rid of things like my address and other not so important information. But its a sad fact that we have to take precautions this day and age. Thinking I would just use it to black out my address and phone number on mail and adverts I ordered this. The roller ball inks out information perfectly on almost all correspondence. Some types of paper might not take to the ink easily but for the most part it works like a charm. Shredding unfortunately will forever remain a necessary evil I fear much to my ire and irritation. I really like this product! I use to use a marker of pen to scribble out all my information and then rip into small pieces. Now I just roll this product over my information and then throw in trash! I use on Prescription Labels, Letters, and Labels on packages. I highly recommend! They are fast and very easy to use! You can carry one in your purse or maybe glove box.
