My guilty pleasure is faux plants- especially large ones. I’m not meant to care for real plants but I like the look of them. With a love for eucalyptus, I immediately wanted this faux tree once I saw it. Once it came, it took me about 20 minutes to put together. The stems of the tree need to be fanned out to your liking, and the tree trunk needs to be placed accordingly into the little basket/pot. There’s also some faux moss that comes with the tree to hide the stand it is in and make it look more real. I’m also shocked at how full my tree came. Overall, the only true flaw with this I could find was the basket was hard to shape into a more circular shape as it came folded. Otherwise, this looks just like the photos! I like this plant, but it's a bit overwhelming. I found it difficult to re-form all the leaves. They needed to be bent and pulled in order to get them to look like a plant and have a more realistic shape than if all the leaves are only pointed upwards. All the leaves and stems/branches are on wires, so they do all bend all different directions and ways. The basket is oval-shaped, and I would have preferred if it were round. I placed this plant in a bedroom corner, and it fits great. It's 4 feet tall, and surprisingly quite wide, once all the branches are shaped. The website photos show the leaves / plant are tall, but I was unable to obtain that taller, sleeker look. ... show more

This faux Monstera arrived rather quickly. All in one piece instead of a trunk in a pot, and the leaves separate. I really like that they included a nice basket to sit it in. The basket was folded and would not straighten out, so I sprayed it with hot water, then put an empty planter pot that fit snuggly inside it. left it till the next night and it looked a lot better. The Monstera has a baby popping up next to it, NICE touch GROWNEER Store. The leaves are nice sizes, the holes and slits in them are very realistic. The stems are thick and bend well with a gentle push over your forearm. I never grab and yank down, this can lead to breakage. The foliage is rather lush. I appreciate that as I have a few other faux plants and trees that are sparse and would be way better with just a few more branches or leaves added. The weight is good on this one. but unless you weigh the pot down, it may tip over. I have a lot of river rock here so I usually add some of that to the larger pot I usually set these plants into. I set in the plant on top of wood blocks or styrofoam pieces from packaging materials. Then I add river rock around the small pot the plant came in. The "soil" in the small pot this plant is in, is some kind of sprayed on fiber. I usually cover the top of the "soil" area with polished stones, marbles, gravel, sheet moss or sphagnum moss. All in all, I am very pleased with this plant. It is a great size. On the floor or on top of a plant stand or table it will add a nice looking piece of decor to your room. We got this to occupy a dark corner of our family room. Normally, we would have hung a plant from the ceiling but without any sunlight, real plants struggled to look healthy. The eucalyptus tree we got was a perfect fit for that area and has really added a lovely touch to the room. The tree is easy to assemble out of the box. The branches are flexible and can be adjusted to best suit your individual needs. The base is weighted and the tree comes with a fabric basket. The basket is much bigger than the tree base but is easily filled with crumbled newspaper or any other filler. We topped our basket/base with moss and it really looks great. I would recommend attaching the upper and lower portions of the tree with some form of glue. After pulling the top off in an effort to move it, I used E6000 to glue it together. No more problem. This is a great “plant” to add to your home to create some warmth and color. I actually purchased this for my office to fill some space but loved it enough to keep it at home. Yes, it’s fake….if you walk up to it and touch it or really look at it, it’s obvious. If you are across the room, you won’t notice. You can see in my pictures from further back you can’t tell. If you get closer and in the light, you can see from the back of the leaves pretty easily. I really love the size of this - it’s very versatile for many spaces in my home. ... show more
