I had looked at several hobby, craft, and home decor stores, trying to find the perfect fake plant for a large pot I had. Some look too fake, some were way over-priced, some are not too tall, and others not full enough. I was super skeptical ordering these online, without being able to see the quality and condition in person. I was super nervous about them being damaged in shipping. I've bought fake flowers off Amazon before and had them come in horrible shape--NOT THESE! This seller/manufacturer did an amazing job. They arrived 2 trees together in one long box. It was light and easy to move around, even with my sore back. They were packaged perfectly and quite safe. I was actually quite impressed with how they were able to protect even the leaves from bends and fold marks. At first I didn't realize there was a ribbon tying the trunk pots in place inside the box, and I was afraid of damaging it while tugging it out. After cutting the ribbon, it came right out and was easy to remove it from the package. I saw the other photos that reviewers had placed online, and had hoped 1 tree by itself would work well and look full, but my pot was VERY large and over-sized. I put both trees in the same pot, and just put the existing dirt around it to hold the pots in place and give it a more genuine potted look. It was super easy to fluff the leaves of 2 trees in a way that made them look like 1 large plant. We under-estimated how hard you have to bend and pull to separate the thick wires of each individual stem. Don't be afraid to apply force and really pull and bend hard...they won't break! They fluffed quite well and look very realistic! We were super happy with how it turned out. So full...so large...it really fills in my large space and compliments my other potted plants well. The black pot the fake palm comes with is very small and lightweight (only 7" diameter and maybe 8-10" tall)...so expect to put it inside a larger pot and support around it and/or weigh it down if you plan to use them outdoors. We are in Florida, and had a big storm blow through within its first week outside. It held up fine and didn't tip over or lose any leaves. Mine is inside a screen enclosure by the pool...so it has a little wind protection but is still quite exposed to the elements. The color did not run in the rain and it appears to be holding up well. My family was so surprised to hear it was fake. It looks so good in person. You really can't tell at all...even up close...especially if you use dirt and rock and natural products at its base to make it look "planted." Since my original review, I’ve bought it 2 other times! Happy every time. Consistent results!! I’ve got some on my front porch, some outdoors by the pool, and even some inside. Love them in all sizes. Sometimes I use just 1, sometimes 2 in the same pot…just depends on the look you need.

For starters, I had 2 real palm plants that were constantly making me Google what the heck was wrong with them - am I watering them too much, too little? Why were leaves yellowing and why this and why that. Then I decided on just getting fake versions that would permanently look like healthy plants AND with zero upkeep (NO MORE WATERING, etc.). After doing tons of research on Amazon and reading all the horrible reviews and positive ones (the photos did help me decide and why I included my own), I purchased these. Both plants were nicely packed together so both arrived in excellent condition. Once I removed the plants and unwrapped them, I ditched the old plants and replaced their white planters/pots with these 2 new ones. I was beyond thrilled with their height (much taller than my ditched ones) and loved how heavy the small base is (if you're putting them outdoors, I suggest you fill the pot plant with rocks or dirt to keep plant from falling over due to a wind gust - common sense, folks!). Once I started shaping the leaves/branches, my head was blown. The plants not only looked gorgeous but realistic (see photos for yourselves). Once I placed them in their intended spots, I shaped the leaves even more and couldn't believe how real and incredible they look. A 200% improvement over the original real plants I had and which were a constant struggle trying to keep them looking healthy. Knowing I don't have to water these is such a relief. Fully recommend these on every possible level.

I just got the palm today. OMG. It was heavy, sturdy, very beautiful. I refuse to water any more plants in my life. I am done!!!!. I only want to take care of myself. This palm is perfect for my new life style. One will go by my front door, outside but not much sun. The second one, will go in my backyard, full sun, lets see how that one holds up. I will let you all know in 5 months.

I absolutely love these Fopamtri Artificial Areca Palm Plants! They look incredibly realistic, adding a nice tropical touch to any room or outdoor space. When you first take them out of the box, you’ll need to stretch out the leaves to give them that natural look. One thing to note is that the base is a bit small, so it tends to tip over easily. I recommend placing it in a larger, more stable pot for better support. Overall, these are beautiful, well-made plants that I would highly recommend if you want the look of real palms without the maintenance!

Love these artificial palms. They work so well on our lanai year around. Our first set lasted 5 years in Florida sun and humidity. My only issue was that the box was carved in half all the way around when delivered and part of a palm was sticking out. What happened between the warehouse and our home? We are going to live with what was delivered because the box to return was so damaged.

Definitely not as full as they lead you to believe. It also looks to be the same as sold at Walmart for a little less money. If they added a few more palm fronds this would be 5 stars. I'll keep it but add fronds when I find singles.
