This listing has Soggy Doggy and Grouch Couch. I have Soggy Doggy already, and the kids really love it. I am so glad I bought Grouch Couch! It's so fun and different. Super simple and fun game for little kids to do. Even my teenager likes playing it with my other son. The couch moves and makes sound every time you push the button. Coins shoot out of the couch and the items on the couch move around. At the end, it plays a song and then you count how many items you have. The game is fun and not complicated for little kids. It's not super exciting, but it's hard for me to find easy games for my son with disabilities. Just an fyi, there is a clear small strap around the couch. At first I thought the game didn't work, but I realized I had to take the strap off. I saw some reviews say it doesn't work - they probably didn't see the small, clear band wrapped around the couch to take off. I put all the little pieces in a ziploc bag. I got this for a 6 year old and it's an extremely cute and fun game. There's no reading involved so younger kids can play it but they do need to be supervised because the pieces are pretty small. The couch makes all sorts of grumbly grouchy noises and spits out coins, beware the coins come out pretty quickly and can fly pretty far! The Queens have fun items that you might find in a couch on them like quarters or underwear or melted popsicles etc. It takes three double a batteries and you want to be sure just flip the power switch off before you put it back in the box when not in use or it will randomly start talking. The only other thing to be aware of is that when it comes in the box there's packaging but there's also a clear plastic rubber band type thing that goes around the entire back of the couch that's really hard to notice but the toy won't work until it's removed. We gifted this to a kindergarten classmate for his birthday and he loved it as well. As an adult I don't mind playing two rounds of this game back to back because it's quick and easy. ... show more

Purchased this adorable game for our 4yr old, and he loves it! For that matter, so do we! It was easy to get out of the box, pop 3 AAA batteries in, and with a 2 minute read of the directions we were starting our first game. Super simple, yet hilarious & fun! You roll the included die, 'feed' the couch that number of treats, then press the remote. The couch comes alive to either grumble & ignore your offering, or go full-on gobbling mode & take in what you've left. Then, if it's happy, it'll shoot out a coin or two (lost goodies- socks, remote, rings, a cat!) as your reward. There is a vacuum option on the die where you 'vacuum' up other's coins, so it's all chance who is left with the most coins at the end of the game when the couch sings its victory song. Each round lasts maybe 6-10minutes, so it's a nice quick game, you don't get bored halfway through. At almost $20, maybe a bit pricey for what's included, but the enjoyment we all get out of it made it totally worth it! ... show more

Bought this as a game to use in school counseling sessions and the kids love it. The couch can be a little finicky and get stuck sometimes but overall great game for the money. It’s easy to play and just silly enough to keep a range of ages engaged.

Fun, easy to play game for young ones. My 4 year old saw this game on a YouTube video and asked for it. It was $20 at Target and saved almost $9 buying through Amazon. A lot of games tend to bore adults but this game entertains everyone. Each game last about 8-10 minutes. Good for learning to take turns and counting as you place a certain number of items on the couch for it to eat. The couch rewards the player with coins and who ever has the most coins when the music plays (signifying the end) WINS! It cheaply made but for $11, I didn’t expect anything else. The concept of this game is fun! It is easy to set up and play. I found it a bit loud with not volume adjuster. Mine doesn't move a whole lot, sometimes hardly moving at all, which means the little pieces don't get eaten. I am not sure if I received a faulty one or if this is the "normal" movement. At times we've had to push the button 2 or 3 times before it will move at all. I liked the idea of this game, but am a bit disappointed at its actual execution. ... show more
