I purchased three of these as a gift for my husband who doesn’t like wearing metal rings. Come in a small metal box, kind of like the one for Altoids (but smaller) with a window to see the ring through. Referring to the Walnut: Ring itself is alright. The color isn’t as vibrant as I would’ve liked or hoped to receive after seeing the advertised pictures. I tried taking pictures of the ring to showcase the dullness but for some reason, the ring looks just as vibrant in my photos as the advertised photographs. However, the colors in person are slightly more dull. Also, there are vertical ridges on the surface of the ring that aren’t visible until you look at the ring up close. A minor thing really but I thought they slightly took away from the walnut wood-look. I realize it’s a silicone ring replicating a wood-look, but the ridges make it doubly less wood-like, if that makes any sense. Still great to look at, from a distance :) Still on the fence about keeping this one. The redwood was darker and duller than pictured. We ended up returning that one. The ash was exactly as pictured!! The surface of the ring was also smoother than the other two. Keeping this one. Also, worth mentioning: These rings are made of a slightly more tough silicone than the one used in their original set of rings (some that I bought years ago that were a solid color on the outside and a solid but different color on the inside). Probably good for longevity but my husband enjoyed the softness of the other ones, so thought it was worth mentioning for others who prefer a softer silicone feel. Enjoy! ... show more

I bought this ring for my husband. He loved it. It doesn't look like the picture exactly as it's so small, but we were pretty pleased with it. The reason for it's 1 star review is longevity. Over time the ring has gone hard, the coating has worn off, and the worst thing - it has shrunk. We would expect hope a ring like this could make it to a year or longer as we don't want to be buying them all the time. We originally had an Enso ring that later a long time without these issues, so we'll likely go back to that brand. ... show more

This was my first ever silicone ring purchase and I was impressed with the pattern and comfort of the ring. I do a lot of work with my hands and after about 3 months of continuous wear I noticed my skin wearing away under the ring. The ring had started shrinking and I noticed a spot where the pattern had worn off. I moved the ring to my pinky, and fast forward 2 months, almost all of the pattern has worn off, the band has become very stiff and it was now tight on my pinky. I had originally ordered a size 7, today when I threw the ring away it was a size 4.5. I read in another review that the patterned rings trend to shrink due to a chemical they have to use to bond the pattern to the ring. So keep that in mind. ... show more

Let's talk about this company and why I loved my purchase. The ring was purchased for my fiance because he has a dirty job and liked the idea of groove ring. Firstly, the wood grain design was beautiful and he received multiple comments about it. Even after a bit of the design wore off, it looked amazing. He took his ring off and left it off for several days. The ring shrunk. I was so sad and reached out to Groove Life because they have that 90 something year warranty. They were amazing! They responded to my email within a day, within 2 days of emails my new ring was on the way. There weren't any hoops to jump through, it was simple. They made it easy. They even explained that some of the rings with the designs use a special silicone to adhere the designs to it and recommended a medical grade one to avoid the same issue. Lucky, the ring shrunk to my size and I'm able to wear it. He was able to pick a new ring, it arrived within a couple days and he loves it. 5 stars because the customer service is top notch. The ring was beautiful. The replacement was beautiful. The experience has been great. And the price, can't complain about that. ... show more
