The size is not accurate, bought the 4' size and they're 3'11". I bought them to hang movie poster size posters, and I'm 3" short on getting them all hung. I bought them specifically bc it says it will accommodate up to 1/8". Its real tight and I absolutely cannot over lap to fit

I installed these display rails in a workspace to hold notices, reference sheets, and printed materials, and they've worked extremely well. The aluminum construction gives them a clean, professional appearance, and the grip mechanism holds papers securely without needing tape, push pins, or magnets. One of the biggest advantages is how easy it is to swap documents in and out—just slide them in place and they're held firmly. Installation was straightforward, and the included mounting hardware made setup quick. I picked up this set of aluminum poster and art holders because I wanted something that would make it easy to hang papers and displays without using pins or tape. These turned out to be just what I needed. Each rail is aluminum with glass marbles inside that press against whatever you slide in. They hold just enough to keep papers, posters, or instructions in place, but not so tight that you struggle to pull them back out. I was surprised at how simple it is to swap things in and out. They can be a little noisy during installation since the marbles roll around inside, but once they’re on the wall they’re completely quiet. You get both double-sided sticky tape and screws for mounting. I’d recommend using the screws if you can. These rails have some weight to them, and tape has a way of giving out over time when there’s weight involved. The plastic end caps on each side are a nice feature. You can remove them if you ever need to take the marbles out or replace one that breaks. I can see these being useful in a lot of places. They work for artwork, but also for hanging instructions in a workshop, recipes in a kitchen, or even photo prints in a dark room. It’s quick to change things out. Overall, these are sturdy, easy to use, and very practical. With six rails at three feet each, you’ll have plenty of space for displays wherever you need them.

Wow! I knew how long these were. The hutch on my desk is plenty long enough for one, and that was what I planned to do with one of them. However, they are heftier than I realized they would be. The edge of the top of my hutch is much too thin to hold one. These really need to be mounted on a wall. I did test to see if they would hold papers, and they do. It's very simple. Stick it up in the groove and it stays. Pull it out and it comes out easily. Inside, there are marbles that provide just enough weight to hold things in place. It's actually an ingenious design. I do not know how much weight it will hold, but it held a booklet with no problem. This would be ideal for a classroom. It could also be used for children's artwork, for bills and miscellaneous papers, or for a family message center. Just be aware that it is three feet long, and it cannot be cut. It is nice aluminum, so it wouldn't be unsightly. Now I have to go and find a place to mount one.

These Grip-A-Strip rails are such a great idea — and they truly deliver! My boys create a lot of art, far more than can fit on the fridge. My oldest has just reached the stage where he’s purposefully choosing colors for specific areas and working to stay inside the lines — milestones I love being able to display! Installation was super easy. I used the included double-sided tape squares because I didn’t want to put holes in the walls, and I love that a no-hole option was provided. The tape feels very durable, and I’m not at all concerned about the rails falling. Even though the marbles inside aren’t visible, they seem to be high quality — if they weren’t, I doubt the papers would hold so securely. The grip is perfect: artwork slides in and out easily without tearing or slipping. The set came with six 3-foot rails, which is an amazing value! I installed one in our office at the production station to hold our work lists and two more in the toy room at home. I placed them near the couch so my boys can easily switch out their own artwork. They absolutely love being able to hang up their creations as they finish them. These rails have been such a fun and functional addition to our home, and I’m excited to keep using them for years to come!
