This table is sturdy and stylish. The shelf is perfect for keeping clutter off of the table itself. It was easy to assemble by myself. It is also not so heavy so I can move it easily when I want to really vacuum well. The size of the table is perfect to accommodate a small couch and two side chairs. Where do I start? I have put together many furniture pieces together from various manufacturers and this one is the WORST! The coffee table is amazingly beautiful, solid wood(?) and simple vintage design. There is not much hardware to put it together. The issue is that the cam fittings was too loose for the secondary shelf under the coffee table top. It is butted together like many furniture pieces I have put together in the past, but for some reason, when I tried to tighten the cam to attach the shelf to the legs, it was loose. The cam was going to fall off for three of the four cam fittings. I wanted to return the table, but the company only wanted to provide solutions, like find your own hardware at the nearest hardware store to fix it, or pay me $35 for my troubles finding hardware that will fix THEIR coffee table!!! I originally wanted to return the table, and I asked for prepaid shipping label, but they REFUSED. This is a $280 table! Customers should be able to put together a furniture piece with NO problems for that kind of money. If it was not for my wife liking the table so much, I would have sent it back. I did fix the the table (for now), but it was a bad purchase. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! ... show more

This feels really sturdy and quality. Assembly was easy - there are only 4 pieces to put together, so once you realize you need to screw the shelf in first, then add the legs and shelf to the table top, it's no problem. Took like 5 minutes total. I love the design. My only complaint is the wood color - the photos used on this listing make this look much more like white oak. But the table I received looks more like red oak. The grain is VERY dark compared to the rest of the wood - it's a lot of contrast and isn't exactly the look I was hoping for. Not going to return it as overall I'm happy with it. However, had I seen it in person, I likely would've chosen something else instead. Such is life! ... show more

First of all this table is SOLID. I was somewhat anxious about buying a table at this price-point sight unseen but, as you can see, it appeared to be an almost perfect match for my vintage end table. The color was spot-on and (again, as you can see) a perfect match for my end table. The entire build is incredibly sturdy and beautiful. It's a real, quality piece of furniture. My only gripe? Assembly was more complicated than it should have been. I couldn't get the cam bolts to lock and eventually my spouse and I got it set juuuuuuuust right so that they would. The instructions also don't tell you what order to put things together in, which is actually pretty important. Given the final product, however, I do not have any complaints! ... show more

This table exceeded my expectations. I was expecting the “old bait and switch” with the wood not be solid oak. I was wrong and it is a beautiful, solid oak, gorgeous grain and very sturdy. The directions could be a bit clearer, but other than that, I am super pleased with this table.
