Let me start By saying "I know this replica is less than $70." That's what had me so excited! 70 bucks for what was depicted in the product photo seemed like a steal! I was blinded by its awesomeness and completely overlooked the fact that you always get what you pay for. This was a Christmas gift for my wife, and was super excited when it arrived. However, when I ripped open the box and tore through the packaging, my stomach dropped. All I could say was, " what the @$#% is this?" I felt cheated and was super sad. Not sad for myself, but sad for my wife, who is a HUGE Gremlins fan and we had never found a suitable replica that was affordable. I really wanted to like this product but its beyond awful. The painted eyes blow. The hands and feet are gross too. Not only is it crappy but the one I got is defective. Going to Khol's tomorrow to send it back.

I only gave this a 4 because I mean it’s Gizmo. He has some issues to be honest. His hair sheds. His fingers and hands had added latex from the mold. His nails need to be recolored. And some hair added to the top. When I get a chance I will work on him some. You can see where the brown and the white separates as well. If I could give him a 3.5 I would. So he’s a 4. The back of him has the hand pocket that is small and only moves his feet. He’s not an actual puppet. ... show more

My major disappointment is that it is supposed to be a puppet ,Sadly I cant get my hand inside the hole behind or even my fingers .The hole is very small only a child or a hobbit`s hand can fit in .From a quality perspective, don't expect a replica from the movie but generally its a fine toy for display , worth the price for a Gizmo fan . ... show more

Bought this for a Halloween costume. It looks great. Zero chance if being used as a hand puppet unless your hands are the size of a 5 year old’s. Which is fine for me because I had no intention to use it as such. But if you’re buying this to use as a puppet, prepare to be disappointed. A little pricey for what it is. i don't really know what the problem is of many reviewers, but i really do love this little Gizmo. I know there have been problems with the first production with hair on its chin and everything, but fortunately mine was all good. It maybe isn't a 1:1 replica as the eyes are not perfect, but it is very close to the real Gizmo and for a good price. You can get better but you have to pay like 7 times the price of this one and for me personally, thats not worth it. Very happy with this one! I also bought the Mogwai Stripe version. ... show more
