Absolutely horrible!! Received defective item and worst thing is I could tell it was returned by another customer who tried to fix it. I’ve called and emailed the seller and manufacturer many times with no response and now I am dealing with having to return the whole desk and repacking it which is incredibly heavy for me and doesn’t repack easily. Only return option is for UPS pickup but I have to leave outside and I can’t repack the box to close let alone pick it up to move outside. Bought this particular desk as I work from home now and needed something with space both for my work monitors, laptop dock, as well as my personal laptop and router/modem. My apartment has an office area in the corner, so the L-shape of this desk fits perfectly there. It's off decent quality for the money and sturdy. For this money, don't expect a luxury grade item. This is a utilitarian desk with functional shelfs, synthetic particle board, and light, hollow metal structure. But I didn't need anything fancy, and this works just fine for the price. Assembly was not bad at all, though I'd recommend using your own tools vs. the ones they provide. Those who complain about how difficult it is to put this together either a) didn't take their time or b) tried to tighten things to much, or both. Do yourself a favor when putting stuff like this together and loose fit everything and then tighten up the screws once the entire desk is complete. If you tighten stuff fully as you're putting it together, parts are going to flex and not fit properly. ... show more

Allocate 2-3 hours to completely build this desk. All parts are numbered to the printed installation manual to make the process easier. The tools are included (Philips head screwdriver, small wrench to tighten bolts). The shipped package is a little heavy (be careful carrying it up/down a flight of stairs), but the finished product is very easy to move across the floor and into position in the room. The final step of applying the desktops to the metal frame are a little tricky, as you have to line up the pre-drilled threaded hole in the underside of the wood, with the hole in the metal frame, and then screw in the bolt properly (I used a cell phone flashlight while lying on my back to best see the alignment of the wood hole with the metal hole). Once the screws are all tightened, the desk feels very sturdy, and you will find uses for the two small storage shelves, especially with no drawers in this desk. I have two 24" FP monitors on it, a docking station, a laptop, and several accessories, and it holds them all well, no problem. I didn't want to spend a lot of $$$ on a new desk, so spending $153 was perfect. This is a steal if you get a lightning deal for less than what I paid. ... show more

I needed to buy an office desk to upgrade my offices general appearance, functionality, and usability across a variety of office tools and products. This desk was purchased a few months ago, I’m not exactly sure when it’s been a busy period, and it’s actually been quite good. I was skeptical due to its pricing that it wasn’t going to be up to snuff quality wise however it’s great value for the money. You won’t be fooling anyone with the wood overlay, but the desk is exactly what you would think it is. It’s not IKEA furniture, but it’s fairly easy to assemble and get put together. Allen keys and patience is the name of the game when assembling. I did so in approximately 1.5 hours, whereas an inexperienced user might take 2hrs to 2.5hrs total to complete. Some of the components are heavy, in general I would suggest team lifting if possible. The whole package itself weighed 60-80lbs. Quality of the Allen keys, the Allen bolts, and the top nuts were all very par with general standard and I had no cross threading issues. After install, general appearance was that this desk is sleek, professional, and very well at home within a home office. This is NOT an executives desk, this is a desk for home users who need more desk space and versatility. Functionally, I have my monitors set up using the corner cut out and a dual monitor mount. The mount did work however some finagling needed to be done so the clamp fit proper. There is a stability cross member at the back middle of the corner cut out and that’s where your clamp will meet issue. The desk can hold a PC tower, dual monitors, a printer/scanner, and a wide assortment of filing items. The desk space is very functional. Usability I watered down to if my chair fit under and if I cut the tops of my hands off during usage. I didn’t use Dragon for this review I typed it all out with my little fingies so alls well there. I’m giving it 5 stars due to the sheer value you get with this desk. Desk shopping can be intimidating especially when you buy without seeing the finished product. I took a leap of faith in this purchase and came out well on top. If you’re on the fence, I’d suggest you take the leap. -N ... show more

Great value for the money. It took about an hour for me to assemble on my own and it seems very stable. There is just barely enough room for my monitor and printer so I wish that it was a bit bigger but this will do the job.
