    • good sturdy toy, but the cards are literally cut out from the packaging
the truck is nice and sturdy. there are small cards that are supposed to go into the side slots. you are supposed to cut the cards out from the cardboard packaging so they are not very sturdy and ware and waste quickly. I purchased the toy on sale, but would have been very disappointed if I had paid full price only to find that part of the toy was cardboard ... show more

A much bigger truck than anticipated but its durable and extremely well made. I appreciate that it is made from recycled materials and right here in the USA. The truck also comes with cardboard cutouts of recyclable items for the child to put into the slots on the side of the bed. Try to wait until this goes on sale as it was a steal under $7! ... show more

    • We love Green Toys— only one issue!
We are huge fans of green toys in our house, they are perfect for our large covered porch they live outside and stand up to the weather quite well. My 2 1/2-year-old was very excited to get this Mickey Mouse one but was absolutely devastated that Mickey Mouse does not come out of the truck like all of the other animals in the green toys do. So I will say that in the future I will make sure that the characters are removable because she would like to play with Mickey Mouse in other vehicles and buildings and not just in the recycling truck. ... show more

I really love all the Green Toys..., but my kids not so much. Why can’t they take the Mickey Mouse out? They want to know why. I have many of the toys from this brand and they don’t get played with as much as I would hope for. I guess they are nice for adults to look at and not that attractive for kids to play with. ... show more

    • Darling, sturdy toy.
My truck loving toddler loves this toy. It is a good size and super sturdy like all Green Toys are. I love that the back opens like a real recycling/garbage truck. Also a major it has no batteries.

It's a great little toy. It's really well made but also really light, much lighter than the typical cheap plastic toy and yet it feels more durable. The back of the truck opens up and you can put little toys in it and that is by far my son's favorite feature. I bought the submarine from this company and love it just as much. I got this on sale to donate this Christmas to toys for tots. It's a really nice toy. The only drawback is the recycling pieces are part of the box you have to cut out.
