I can only provide an honest answer by quoting the septic guy that came to pump out the system. His first reaction when opening the tank was " I see you use enzymes- no huge solid masses". We have been using Green Gobbler for many years, so I can only assume it works well. Septic tank guy was definitely impressed. Just as an aside comment, our system was overdue to be pumped by about 4 years. Not recommending the pump out delay, time just got away from me... i think the Green Gobbler enzymes probably helped to keep the system working even with my failure to do proper maintenance.

You know we live in a truly online world when you find yourself writing a review for something you flush down the toilet, so here we are: I had my septic tank pumped 3 years ago because the tank had begun overfilling, which caused the drains to gurgle and the toilets to flush poorly. The septic service said it had a lot of paper buildup and that was the main cause of the problem. Since then I've been flushing these septic pods every month, and just had the tank pumped again today for preventive maintenance. The septic service remarked that the tank showed signs of very "healthy" biological activity, with no excessive paper buildup this time. I attribute the improvement to using these pods and would recommend them to anyone with a septic tank.

These are in pods so no measuring , loose powder or liquids. I drop one in every 3 weeks before bed so it has plenty of time to work. Directions indicate monthly but septic issues are expensive so I do every 3 weeks as a leap of faith
