My sister n law bought this dress in the polka dot pattern and it looked fantastic on her so I purchased the red floral print for myself. She’s 5’4” and I’m 5’1” - so there’s that. It is long on me and I have to wear heels. With heels the back almost touches the ground (but doesn’t). The front is perfect. I really like the dress and am keeping it. I still might buy a second pattern. I think it’s a great going out dress or even a nice work dress. It’s lightweight. I’ll wash it in cold and hang dry. I feel like it would shrink in the dryer. Overall - a cute dress for the price. I’m pleased.

I think this is a flattering dress for most body type. Flowy, light. Two reason it didn't earn 5 stars: 1) the color wasn't true white- more like an ivory, nearly beige. Still pretty but not what I expected. 2) it shrank in the wash. Trying it on the back skimmed the floor, but after washing (dryer on low), it rests a few inches above my ankle, so maybe 4 inches off the ground. That said, I did buy another in black bc I liked the style.

The dress fits and flows beautifully. It's very flattering and an eye-catcher. However, it's see-through. I had to wear a t-shirt dress under it to avoid showing everything. I am a bit disappointed because I paid about $40 for this dress and was not expecting the material to be so thin. I could have paid half the price for a solid dress at Ross. But it is very pretty.

I struggled with what size to get as I wanted form fitting but not too tight in waist/torso. I am 5'4" and my waist is 35" and I weigh 160-165 lbs. I finally decided to go with a medium because I didn't want the top to be too loose. The elastic at the waist (which on me was high--think empire waist) fit just right and even has a bit more room still. If you find the length in the back too long, you can always tuck it. Love that the front flap is sewn in so it's safe for a windy day. I think I could have gotten a large,but then the top would be floppy. Nice red color. I am going to wear it with sneakers. Heals look good with it too. Will travel well I think!

Without realizing it until they arrived, I ordered two of the same brand/style dress but in different colors (one solid black, one black/white small flowers). They fit differently and the fabrics were vastly different. The solid black one is extremely wrinkly and would be terrible for travel, which is what I wanted it for. The top of both fit too loosely for me, and I'm not that small up top (shoulders or chest). Black one wasn't quite as loose as the printed fabric one. Further, the black one was missing the tie for around the waist. I'll be returning both and getting a smaller size of the printed fabric one, as that one would be PERFECT for travel--no wrinkles. Just too big up top. Hopefully the smaller size fixes that. If you don't mind ironing and are top heavy, the black could be a very good dress for you. Thin and flowy, which is what I was hoping for. Neither seemed see-through, which was a concern when I saw how lightweight the fabric was. The printed one was disappointing in that the trim thread was black and not white as pictured. I really liked the pop of the white in the listing.

I bought this dress for a wedding I’m going to in June. Was super hesitant because I’ve bought clothes from Amazon before and it’s very hit or miss. Thankfully this dress has previously been reviews by others and had a lot of pictures. Tried the dress on when it came in and I can definitely tell it was made overseas. The material is cheap and thin, the care instructions are more finicky than my other dresses. The fit itself is very flattering. I love the bright blue color. It’s a beautiful dress I’m just unsure how well it will hold up due to the cheap manufacturing.
