We have 2 Tripp trapp chairs for each of our young children, and I love them! It is a little tricky to get baby in and out of the baby seat, but with a little practice it’s no problem! And I MUCH prefer the Tripp trapp to our traditional high chair. It’s far easier to clean, takes up way less space, and makes it so much easier to sit down and eat at the table with 2 kids under 2 years old. They can sit right up at the table along with us, and I’m able to help them when they need me, while also getting to enjoy my own meal. And I just love that the chair grows with the child, making them comfortable until they’re tall enough to sit in a real chair.

I guess for the price, I'm kinda disappointed. Yeah, it's unique, and grows with the child, but my son-in-law who is VERY handy had such a difficult time adjusting the straps! For me, it's an odd looking piece, basically made out of painted wood, and yes, the finish and red color are nice, but for $300? I wouldn't buy it again. It was at the top of my daughter's list, so I bought it. It's what they wanted. I gave it a 3 on Ease to assemble because they had to spend SO much time getting the straps right.

My friends recommended this chair, so that’s why we got. Yes!! This is a game changer. Now my son is a good posture while eating. He has a footrest now( didnt have before). It’s just heavier, but can use it for a long span!!

Initially the chair was a little wobbly but after going to the website for more building instructions, it stood perfectly. Love the design and color it’s just too bad that they sell you all the add ons (tray, seat cushion etc) for baby at such a high price. The tray is definitely not worth the price, it’s tiny and I thought we’d be able to use it to do other activities.

The design of this chair is fantastic, and I’m glad we purchased it for our second babe after deliberating about it for our first. However, the stain is terrible. It looked great for a few weeks and then started yellowing. We haven’t used any cleaners other than mild soap & water, and the chair doesn’t sit in the sun all day so it seems like the stain wearing away was inevitable. The foot plate also developed two hairline fractures in this short amount of time. I’m not sure if we got a lemon, but I can’t recommend the chair for its cost in this particular style. I will be reaching out to Stokke to see what’s possible for the cracked footboard. They seem to have a good warranty but we will see! In the meantime, it works as intended for a high chair.
