Wow, I ordered this tool a year ago and it did so many things besides edging and getting grass between bricks.....MY I sit in the garden and just drug it around and without touching my plants, it went about 2 inches under the grown as I layer it flat and slid it along, it got up those tiny little red roots that run everywhere .......I was shocked .....it is not sharp and can do this, I guess if it was sharp, then it would cut the roots into and not gently pull all of them up. For me, it is a tool I have needed for quite awhile. I just received it a few days ago. I actually got some time to use it over the weekend and it worked far better than I expected. Here are the good things about it, it actually works and makes it much more easy to get those annoying plants that grow in cracks. It took me a while to figure out how to use this, but it was very helpful. There is a crack in the pavement the entire length of our property. Plants grow in that crack and makes the property look untidy. I don’t use chemicals so I needed something to loosen the weeds so they could be easily pulled out. This tool is the one for the job. Basically you draw the tool in the crack and move it toward you. It cuts the roots and makes it easy to pick them up. Have a stone patio and grass gets in the crevices. I have tried weed killers in the past but hate the chemicals and it takes awhile for them to die and then I have to pull the dead weeds out.
