I was surprised how heavy the box was when I received it (about 50lbs). Everything was labeled and really easy to assemble. It took about an hour for one person to put it all together. It comes with a single Allen wrench so you’ll need a philips screwdriver to assemble. Its a lot better than some of the other furniture I’ve purchased from different stores. This is not that cheap particle board stuff that bends and cracks when you put weight on it. Added bonus for the x2 power outlets and USB ports inside. ... show more

Much better quality than most of the online furniture you can get. I had another smaller, lift up table. This one is much sturdier made with better materials. The built-in AC power and USB ports are also very useful. The hinges works well. Very smooth. The only criticism I have is with the assembly process. The top panel could use identification labels that help indicate the side that faces your sofa. And the process of screwing of the top panel to the hinges is a really a nightmare... The screw hole were very shallow and difficult to access... That was the only reason I took off a star. The smaller lift top table I had prior was significantly easier to assemble. But the higher quality of the product is totally worth it. ... show more

    • Assembly instructions are riddled with mistakes

My husband is a mechanical engineer with a hands iny job working on industrial machinery. He reads diagrams for a living. I say that to preface the frustration that the assembly experience forced us through. The orientation of the parts flip from one step to the next. Some parts are depicted in orientations that are physically impossible. Two dowel and screw holes are physically flipped in the instructions and it's not clear until the end step is completed. ... show more

I was kind of hesitant to purchase this coffee table, but I bought it anyway because I was looking for this particular color to match my decor. Surprisingly it looks great and has a sturdy feeling .
