Well made & heavy. Color is beautiful. The closure could be better- it comes apart easily with slightest movement. I actually used a thin wire to tie it shut.

I got this for a friend and it just arrived today and I have to say the quality of the material is much better than I expected for a halloween "style" accessory! I think the value for the price is there, something that can be used for different events or parties, I think it will last for awhile.

It's not some sort of deluxe velvet standup collar- but really, I wasn't expecting that for $25. It's pretty thin and cheap. The gold piping is far more bright yellow in person (but it does photograph well enough?). The buckle on it IS metal, which is nice, but arrived badly sewn on or damaged- quick repair I suppose, but a hassle to have to sew a brand new item. 3/5 stars because quality is low but about what I've come to expect for the reasonable price point. Decent for from a distance last second costume use or if you've got time to fancy it up. ... show more
