I want to love this dress. It has a style that combines classic and unique in a way we don't often see. I chose a soft grey-blue that looks great on me, and I was pleased by the quality construction and the price. I could see buying a couple more dresses in this style. But the fit is disappointing. I followed the size guide instead of buying my usual size, and I could definitely go down a size. The bigger problem is vertical fit, not horizontal. Either the drafting scale they use (the way they decide how big to make each part of the garment) is based on someone who's extremely short-waisted, or they thought it would look good to put the waistband up around the floating ribs (it doesn't) . The waist of the dress is so high on me that the bottom of the waistband is a full two inches above my actual waist. There are good-looking dresses with high waistbands, but I doubt any of them are fitted in the skirt. The great '50s detail of having darts from the waistband to the fullest part of the butt instead have that extra fullness about two inches above that part of my butt. Because the waist starts two inches higher than it should, the hem is just above my knees instead of a couple inches below it. And this problem can't be fixed by ordering a size smaller. I haven't decided yet whether I'll keep this dress or send it back, but I'm not buying the other colors I'd considered until they come in sizes that fit women with average-to-long torsos.

When I did a Amazon search for unique dresses, I never thought I'd find a dress that I would absolutely love. This dress makes me feel so special. And, every time I wear it I always get a lot of compliments. It's is super comfy and can be dressed either up or down. I like the pattern because it's different, especially for me. And, I also love the dress because Frida Kahlo's image is on certain parts. It's just a fun dress. Oh! I also love the cut at the neckline; not your basic round or V shapes. It doesn't stretch at all. But, it fits me perfectly despite my big bottom and smaller top half. Highly recommend.

This was an emergency Buy . I do not have time to go shopping and try dresses on . This was a beautiful fitting dress I loved it . Great material, and you can machine wash it!... At least once anyway. Lol I am five four and a half and I weigh 175 lb my measurements are 40' 37' 42', I ordered an 2x large because I'm very curvy and I was scared that it wouldn't fit I had to wash it in hot water because it was too big and it is made for Curves. I watched it in hot water, gentle cycle or hand wash cycle and it fit perfectly

I wore this dress for a sorority ceremony and it was a perfect fit and style for me. I have a large bust (38G), so I often shop to fit my bust first before my waist/hips. The large fit nicely, not too tight in the bust. I probably could’ve gotten an XL for wiggle room but then it would’ve been too large in my hips/waist. I would like to see the dress in a different fabric. The fabric used may be a cheaper material, and is more of an off-black in appearance vs a true rich color. Overall, it’s a nice dress.

You really can't beat the price. Looks just as advertised. Fits perfect. Comfortable and made with well materials. Highly recommend for anyone who just needs a quick cheap dress for a last minute occasion. I'm shook by how well it was. Just throw it in the dryer with a damp towel for 10 minutes to remove the wrinkles. Like a said, a quick last minute outfit that is perfect for any occasion.

Received so many compliments wearing this! It’s a cool cut & fabric. I am thin, but curvy and ordered a M originally because description said the fabric doesn’t have stretch. However, ended up exchanging that for a S because the M was too big and bunched up in places. I would recommend ordering your usual size and expect it to be fitted and curve-hugging… that’s exactly how this style dress is supposed to be!
