I got this tracker for my dog and it’s been such a relief knowing I can check in on her anytime. It’s small, super lightweight, and doesn’t bother her at all on her collar. The setup was super easy and the app is very user-friendly. I love that the battery lasts a good amount of time (like close to 2 weeks before recharging) and that it’s waterproof, which is a must since my dog is always outside running around. The alerts give me peace of mind, and I’ve even used the LED light feature at night to spot her quickly in the yard. It feels durable, and I don’t worry about it breaking if she’s roughhousing. Overall, it’s been a really great investment for keeping my baby safe and giving me peace of mind.

The size is just right too—compact enough for my dog’s collar without being bulky. The setup was super easy and took just minutes. Do not buy! It feels cheaply made and isn’t worth it for just keeping tabs on pets. Every function requires a paid subscription, you can’t combine multiple trackers onto one subscription and the app itself is very limited, poorly developed, and frustrating to use. Each time we open the app, it says our cats are near our old address, 15 minutes away, where we never even had these trackers before. Super weird. Or if it says our cats are at the other end of our 5 acres, we look outside, they’re on our porch. The battery life is awful. I’ve had to charge them each day. And that’s without using the “battery lowering features.” We had frequent trouble getting it to show the correct location of our outdoor cats several times. I spoke with customer service who were very helpful but it still didn’t correct the issue of the wrong locations. Overall, it’s not user-friendly and definitely not worth the cost. Will be using AirTags instead.

This is a great tracker, honestly the subscription is worth it for peace of mind. I can always check where my dog is, and the app is easy to use. Battery last a couple days and my pup barely knows he has it on. Over all I would recommend.

this Petloc8 GPS tracker is pretty awesome for keeping an eye on my dog! It’s been working great, giving me real time updates through the app, and the geo-fence alerts are a lifesaver when he tries to wander off. The 14-day battery life is clutch way fewer charges to worry about and it’s super easy to clip onto his collar. The community feature where family can check in is a cool bonus too. Only downside is it’s a bit bulky, but my pup doesn’t seem to mind. Definitely worth grabbing if your dog loves to explore!

BIG WARNING BELOW! So overall the product is fine. It isnt a world class tracker but it does the job and you can pay month to month for the tracking membership which is required. Other trackers I have had you need to get 6 months or a year pre paid and they are pricey. We were just moved and needed one for out outdoor cat so the product didn't need to be incredible but just generally good enough to keep tabs on him. For that it works fine! It is a little glitchy and slow to update sometimes but overall good. The HUGE WARNING.... there a battery saver mode which uses wifi to help conserve battery. Never ever use this option. My tracker was froze and was not updating location for 8 hours. When I called customer support they said "that battery saver mode does that and they really wish the packaging made that more clear." The only solution was to reset the tracker that was on a cat...the same cat that was lost! Luckily the cat just came back anyways and it worked out but I don't even get why the battery saver option is on there if that is a possibility. But again....overall the product works and depending on why you are using it could be great.
