I love the elastic hem. I wanted a cover that was simple to put on and take off while the pontoon is on the lift. Perfect to pull tight on our 20’ Bennington. I live in North Florida. Until I get my building up I bought this to protect my pontoon from all the elements. I went past my 30 day return by a few days. Close date was April 21. This is not waterproof. It leaches through the cover and my seats and deck are wet with water pooled. Not impressed for the price. And it was advertised waterproof. ... show more

We got this boat cover to help protect my daughter's new Seadoo Pontoon boat. The ad stated that it would fit a 19-21 ft. pontoon boat and this pontoon is 21 ft with the back step area. The cover comes in a drawstring bag that can be used for storage when not in use. It drapes over the boat and then cinches to pull the cover in around the corners, but still seems a bit big to me. Glad I didn't upsize. The cover is not as thick as expected but time will tell about it protecting the boat as described. The boat is (mostly) under cover but still got soaked with the last rain storm so we are looking forward to having this protection. I think that it would be beneficial to add some tie downs in addition to the cinch so that wind doesn't catch the cover. I saw that on a different ad and it looked like it would keep the cover more secure. One thing that the ad didn't mention is that this would also reduce dust/debris getting into the boat. My daughter lives on an acreage and wind/dust are both issues. Also bird droppings from the rafters of their outbuilding. And finally, the most brutal of south Texas elements....the sun. If nothing else, covering the boat will help preserve the finish and the fixtures/furniture on the boat. At $159, this seems like a fair value. But time will tell how long it lasts. ... show more
