Boy, you can tell this game was supposed to have a load of microtransactions with all the crap you can collect that you don't need to customize your characters. It feels like that was ripped out at the last second. I just bought this for the beat'em up game. I didn't care about all the outfits and customizations, and you can have fun without bothering with them too much. I think this game was overthought, but there's still a good time to be had. The previous Batman games were far better. This game is very repetitive and boring at times. I wanted more takedown options. Previous Batman games had takedown challenges and benefits for finishing an encounter with stealth. This game has almost no stealth component and you can brute force nearly all the missions. The mission progression can stall as you need to interrogate a certain faction to advance a mission. Sometimes it’s hard to find the faction or it is easy to accidentally knock out the one enemy you need to interrogate. It’s a frustrating and annoying component. ... show more
