It was a little pricier than we wanted to spend but it certainly is a quality hoop. Assembly required two adults but was very straight-forward and the quality of tools they provided were very impressive. Definitely bring your water hose to the exact spot where you want the hoop as the hoop gets very heavy once the base is filled. We've only had in the elements for a week and so far it looks very nice. Hopefully that will continue throughout the season. The hoop came with two 9 in basketballs, net, airpump and needle so everything is supplied. Locating the base of the hoop 8 inches back from the pool edge (as instructed) is great as made shots literally bounce off the pool edge and rebound straight out! We're going to have many hours of fun with this hoop this Summer. ... show more

This is definitely a sturdy, fun, and great looking basketball goal. It held up well for the first summer but shortly after bringing it back out from storage for this year, the arm holding the goal to the post stripped out. This prevented use at its top height. I also noticed paint chipping off of the rim along with rust. I contacted PlayGoSports customer service and was immediately emailed with further instructions to obtain replacement parts. Within a hour of reporting the problems, Elijah had a FedEx tracking number for me, and a new arm assembly and rim was on the way. It couldn't have been an easier process! ... show more

Please don’t waste your money on this basketball hoop. It only lasted 16 months with minimal use. The plastic tape around the backboard peeled off within the first couple of months. And the rim deteriorated with rust and paint chips after 1 year. There is no option to contact support, so I wasted $379 on this product. Lesson learned. ... show more

In the beginning.. seemed like a great product. Sturdy and adjustable. Noticed some bubbles in the dark blue just weeks after assembling. Didn't know those bubbles would turn into the whole clear plastic delaminating /starting to fall and also dropping blue /white plastic paint chips into the pool. Definitely a manufacturing problem. For the price this should not happen. UPDATE: Manufacture promptly replied to email (Info@playgosports.com) and is sending replacement parts. I’ve had the hoop for over a year. It’s solid and the size is perfect. It stays by the pool throughout the year. The wear and tear in the Florida sun is brutal. The backboard fell off and the hoop rusted. I’m outside the warranty but P&P have replaced both no questions asked. I appreciate them.
