  • Great fabric glue
Size: 3 Pack
I’m a true believer in any Gorilla products to start off with. Glue, tape, whatever. If I’m looking for a product and I see the gorilla name, that’s the one I get. Even when it cost a lot more than the other product because I know the brand has never failed at what I needed it to do…My couch seams ripped open across the back. I was so upset. Then a few days later I look and the chair that goes with my couch had down the same thing. 😪 I’m not a sewer. I wouldn’t even know where to start. So I started looking for something to patch it with. Even though I found some products that would work to make it look better than having the big rip in it, I wasn’t crazy about using them because it would totally match. So I started wondering about glue. I used to use fabric glue on my daughter pants to hem them and got good results but I was worried fabric glue wouldn’t work well since the couch seams would be have pressure on them, being pulled when someone leaned back. Hence why they ripped in the first place. Someone was sleeping in those spots overnight. I started searching for a strong glue. I even thought about using regular super glue. Then I saw it! Gorilla Glue for fabric and I heard the angels singing! I ordered some right away and the day it came I used it on my couch. It was easy to use. Not messy at all. Stayed where I put it. Honestly I’m not sure how long it took to dry because after I put it on the seam I pulled the fabric together and used some small clamps I had bought to keep it together, walked off to do other things and kinda forgot about it. I didn’t look at it again until I took the clamps off the next night. They had been on for over 24 hours at that point. The glue had done its jobs and was holding everything together. That’s been around a months ago and it’s still holding together with no issues . I have a very rambunctious 11 yr o with severe ADHD and three crazy dogs. It’s survived it all. Even though there’s a bit of a ridge were I pinched the fabric together you really don’t notice it because of the couch color. Someone with more patience than me could probably do a better job but it works for me and looks better than a patch would have. I’m thinking about going over the seams along the top with some of the glue to help them stay together. When I get around to fixing the rip in the chair I’m going to try to remember to take pictures and keep an eye on drying time. It may cost a little more than a lot of other fabric glue I looked at but the way I see it is Gorilla Glue has repeatedly worked well for me and is holding up well on the couch. If I used a cheaper glue chances are it wouldn’t hold up as well and I would be re-doing it which means I would buy more glue and spend more money than if I had just bought Gorilla Glue in the first place. So to me the cost is worth it. 😉 ... show more

  • Gorilla strong
Size: 1 - Pack
This product works like a charm! I called on the glue to repair a torn seam and found it to be worth its price and effective with tears. I used it as directed on a cotton seat cover, and it worked perfectly. I have washed the cover many a time and it holds together without a problem. Rather than using a needle and thread, this glue takes care of any torn fabric. I recommend it highly. ... show more

  • Not as strong a gorilla but strong enough!
Size: 1 - Pack
Strong, easy to apply, follow the directions and it will adhere to fabric well. My use case was to affix a velcro backing to a cordura fabric backpack and it worked well - applied glue to both the bag and the backing and put it in place. Waited 24-hours to cure fully and it looks good with my new USA flag patch affixed. A good value, economical size, strong adhesive, and dies quickly. ... show more

  • Sticky situation... Has worked out well!
Size: 1 - Pack
So far so good! Had tried a different brand fabric glue that just didn't hold. So far this glue has kept the velcro patch stuck to the fabric and has not pulled off.

  • Does not last
Size: 1 - Pack
Smells an acts just like airplane model glue. It seem to work good. I glued a belt loop back on my pants. Which I have to have the belt loops because I’m paralyzed and get dressed in bed. But after washing a couple times and wearing them a couple times it has already come unglued. So it might work good for something that you don’t stress as much. But I wouldn’t recommend it for anything else. ... show more
