This huge roll of 17" wide stretch wrap worked ok for the limited job that I had right now but I could tell that if I was wrapping things a lot I'd want handles for the roll or a dispenser of some sort. This roll is much bigger than a typical roll of kitchen wrap so it was definitely better for a big item like a cardboard box, but that large size also makes it harder to work with. The inside of the heavy cardboard tube this is wrapped around is about 3" so it is easy to get a grip on the inside of it but that just isn't as convenient as a handle when unrolling a lot of it or passing it around something big. It is sturdier than kitchen wrap and it clings to itself quite well so there's no need for tape. I'm glad to have a big roll of this around to hold doors and drawers into furniture the next time I have to move so I won't have to worry about a door flying open or drawer falling out when going up stairs. It will also be useful for compressing and protecting bedding and for keeping carpets rolled up. ... show more

We are in a slow process of moving, and it had never occurred to me to get something like this. Wow, am I glad for the discovery! I don't trust my furniture not to be scratched up (most of it is hand-me-down or not high quality, so it's easy to forget to be careful), so I love that it can be wrapped withthis. It's also great for storing the office boxes we've packed up in our not weather-proof barn; the handles allow air in, so this product allows us to make them waterproof. It would be nice if this came with handles, although we purchased another brand with handles and they did not stay in, so maybe that doesn't matter. ... show more

I've long used Stretch Tite from the kitchen to help wrap things when moving, moving things into storage, or bundling items together for transport. There are a couple issues that this film solves. I do love Stretch Tite brand plastic wrap, but it's obviously sized for the kitchen, not for packing things up. The Gorilla film solves this by being markedly larger (about twice as long) but not too long that it's unwieldy. I don't have a roller or dispenser to put this on and I appreciate that the size isn't totally unmanageable. The second main issue is related to resiliency. While kitchen plastic wrap works well, I do have to go over what I'm wrapping multiple times to ensure it's tight enough and strong enough to keep everything together without ripping. While I wouldn't quite call this Gorilla product heavy duty, it is more robust than kitchen plastic wrap. It sticks well to itself, too. All in all, I'd recommend this. ... show more
