The bag has shoulder straps to turn it into a backpack, making it very versatile. luckily our bag stayed in the kayak, and we didn’t test the waterproofness, but the seams looked to be of very high quality. I normally chose black for everything because it goes with everything. However, I went floating on the river and the bag was baking in the sun and was at times hot to touch. I actually dipped in the river a few times to cool it off. Everything inside stayed dry, so it did it's job. Good product.

I do a lot of White water kayaking. I keep a 5L dry bag in my boat to hold a few necessities. I’ve been using a big whitewater brand with 3 letters that cost nearly twice as much. This bag seems to be as well made. I’ll see it it holds up as well as the more expensive brand.

I use these bags to keep items dry on motorcycle trips. This dry bag gets the job done. It's large enough to hold a couple of rolled up tee-shirts and underwear, a pair of shorts, and a shaving kit. I like the carry strap and the roll top allows you to adjust the size of the bag when carrying fewer items. This is a keeper and it won't break the bank. You can also use it to carry a sixpack of "drinks" and stuff it with ice for an evening around the campfire! The seams are heat welded and see pretty heavy duty.
