About a year ago I bought a small red craftsman tool box from Amazon. I always considerd them to be top of the line. Well not any more that box lasted 3 months before i had to toss it in a dumpster. The three drawers kept getting jammed and coming out of the tracks. The title to my review was”Defined not your fathers Craftman” This tool box is everthing i was hoping for and more. it will hold larger single tools. The tray is soft plastic which makes it quiet. and theres a clear tray on the outside top that lets you store nut bolts screws conectors ect. The one slight complaint I would have is that the latches could close a bit tighter sometimes it almost feels like it could fall open while carrying it. I counter that by over filling the tray just enough to requier the latches to have extra pressure on them. over all 9 out of 10 stars

I opened this up right out of the box and the top chrome piece of the latch-lock literally flew off like somebody threw it. The other one is somewhat secure, but having to already dip into some Gorilla Glue to fix this brand new tool box was disappointing. The underside of those same latch locks are pretty obviously not centered, I don't expect them to last.

I liked the rugged construction and storage is good. I would have liked the upper tray to have somewhat larger tray compartments instead of multiple smaller trays.

This toolbox is one of a kind. It has small storage spot on top that you can put pens, pencils, screwdrivers and other small tools for easy quick access. Then we move to the main latches for the toolbox. They work smoothly and with just a flick of your finger your toolbox is in Unlocked. When you open the lid the handle straightens out horizontally and supports the top of the toolbox allowing you to take out the tray and set it on the backside if the lid. This way you can scan inside the toolbox and the tray for whatever tool your looking for. I find this extremely helpful. I also want to add that the handle is big and feels comfortable to grab and swivels smoothly. Overall it's a great toolbox! The latches are perhaps an little too loose. You get a sturdy toolbox with great storage for its size and great functionality
