The company, go Plus, took very good care of me as a customer. The product shipped on the same day I ordered it, and got here about a week early. Very nice for us, since it is a birthday gift. The packaging was pretty good; the box itself showed the few holes in it during shipping, but the table itself seemed great. I was able to set the table up within an hour; the legs do not fold but can be removed if you want to store it, or take it somewhere. 3 screws per leg. My daughter loves the pool table! It's perfect for her height. The felt is touted as a higher friction felt which means the balls don't roll nearly as far as a slate table. This is a good thing if your kids are learning how to aim. I am able to put different types of spin on the ball including follow and draw, but it's much different than a slate pool table. If you want a slate pool table in a 4ft size, you are probably going to have to build your own using some sort of marble countertop. I am able to teach my daughter how to do a basic stop shot, follow shot and draw shot; we do many practice drills, and we play a lot of straight pool, or 14.1 rack on it with some slight modifications. I recommend that every new or younger player learn how to play straight pool (14.1 rack) before learning how to play eight or nine ball. Much easier for them to grasp, and I can shoot at whatever Ball they want, including the 8-ball. Also pick up "play your best straight pool" And "play your best pool" by Phil Capelle. They are some of the great books on pool I have in my library. Also available here on amazon. You should add them to your library as well. ... show more

I have played pool for a number of years on professional grade slate tables. I bought this to play on with my kids (11 and 16). This product is excellent value for the price, as long as one appreciates what one is buying. First, please do understand that this is a 4'x2' table and best suited to children or short individuals. It is all wood and no slate is involved. In other words, this is as basic as you get while retaining the ability to have some fun knocking balls about. The table was set up and being played on within 30 min of opening the box. The assembly is quite basic, four legs and leg stabilizers, everything else is provided assembled. The pockets are really just some netting stabled to the bottom of the table, but suffice. The balls are 1.5 inch and acceptable. The triangle is flimsy but does the job. The major detractor from the set are the pool sticks. They are made of extremely light weight wood. While playable with I plan on splurging a few 10s of $ to get a better weighted set. The sticks are really the only thing preventing me from scoring this 5 stars. In conclusion, I am rather pleased with the product which for the price I paid (110$) I consider to be a very good value. I cannot attest to its durability, but if taken care of I would expect it to last for a while. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This pool table took maybe 20 minutes to put together with my 10 year old son. It's sturdy, but also not heavy. He was able to help me flip it upright after assembly. The balls are smaller than a normal pool table, but I'm not really sure why people are expecting full sized balls with a miniature pool table. The pool sticks are also smaller than regular ones, but they get the job done and have been great for teaching my boys how to play. Overall, we are very pleased! Anything to keep the kids off electronics for a bit! Definitely worth the money! ... show more

The pool balls are small. They are not the size of regular pool balls. These pool balls are smaller than golf balls, and the pockets are smalls too. They will not fit a regular size pool ball.
