It's definitely too early to tell whether or not this will hold up. It was absolutely a fair price for being 120x98. I do want to say before I give a review that a lot of people have unrealistic expectations of what their duvet should look like. When being advertised it is very common for them to pull most of the comforter all the way to the corner of the bed and take a photo of the corner, making it look like the duvet will reach to the floor or close to it. This is just an advertisements way of letting you see a lot of the fabric at a certain angle. The only way you're going to get that kind of look with your duvet is if you know what size you need to get. There is not a one-size-fits-all for a queen bed or a king bed, etc, because different mattresses are different thicknesses and people want different lengths for their comforter. I have a Split-King. My mattress is approx 15 or 16 inches (sorry I don't remember right now). Additionally, my bed is pretty high off the ground. I have to literally "climb" into bed. It's not quite as tall as a captain's bed, but it is absolutely taller than most beds. To get this look with the duvet hanging over all sides to cover the mattress, I had to get 120x98. A standard king size is considered to only be 104 or 108 x 98, which is good for a QUEEN size bed. I don't think people understand that if they want a very full look, they have to order bigger size than their actual bed size. Having said that, we can move on to the review.... Is it wrinkly out of the package? Yes. But it doesn't matter. Because these are not comforters. Duvets are inserts. You are supposed to purchase a duvet cover and put these inserts in them. The point is to have a comforter that you can easily wash by removing the duvet cover and throwing the cover into the washing machine and then putting it back on the duvet. However if you have a dryer that's large enough for one of these, putting it in the dryer for several minutes on the low heat will also get rid of wrinkles and fluff it up more. Could these little squares be filled with more fluff? They are about a medium fill. I did notice a few squares that were not as full as most of the others... But I've purchased at least five feather filled duvets over the years, from several different brands, and that's quite common. Live in an apartment with standard size washers and dryers. I'm not sure if I could get this oversized King in the dryer to fluff it up more that way. However, it has been my experience with years of owning feather duvets that eventually they do thicken up more as you use it. And, no, that process does not happen overnight. The duvet had a weak smell of feathers. I've had some pretty bad ones that I've immediately had to return. This one is barely noticeable and getting fainter with every hour that it's been out of the packaging. No chemical smells. This one is a little "crinkly" sounding. I've had some that were much louder and I've had some that made no noise at all... I personally love the crinkle sound of a feather duvet. My last one did not make the crinkly noise, and I missed hearing that sound. So I'm glad this one does. To me, there's just something extremely comforting about curling up with it and it making that noise. Again, compared to others, and duvets of the past... It's really not that loud of a crinkle. I also love that it has corner and side tabs to tie the cover to. I don't think there's anything else I can really comment. I cannot comment on longevity as this is on the second day I've had it. And tonight will be actually the first night that I slept with it. Because the very first night I just left it out in my living room draped over the love seat so that it could air out and fluff up after being in that vacuum packaging. If anything changes I'll try to update this review. I just know I'm very picky about my duvets and I'm absolutely keeping this one. Also, the best thing you could ever do with your feather bed products is to get it out in the sunlight at least once a month. And I mean literally lay it out in the sun (in direct sunlight) somewhere for a couple hours, flip it over and lay it out for a couple more hours again. The natural sun is amazing for keeping them full and fluffy and dry and free of bacteria and smelling clean and fresh. Feather pillows. Feather toppers. Feather duvets, etc. Right now I figured people might want to see a review. The duvet cover doesn't arrive till tomorrow, but I wanted to post pictures of exactly how long it reaches on both sides without any duvet cover so you could see exactly how the product itself fits the bed. Once I get the cover I may update photos to show what this duvet looks like in a cover. As of right now? I absolutely recommend this duvet.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I researched to no end. My previous comforter didn't come in the size I wanted. This was an awesome purchase. It has weight, meaning you know it's on your body. Not hot and just the right amount of crunch to make it luxurious. I have never enjoyed bedding so much! It was a bear putting the oversize king in the duvet but I will do it all day long.

I had a real down hand made comforter prior to ordering this one. It feels very similar. Nice and fluffy, perfectly oversized, and feels luxurious. Others complained of the fabric being loud. It’s not that bad. Overall great quality for a fraction of the price of many down comforters on the market.

This is a very pretty blue blanket. It seems very soft and warm. The only thing I took a star off for is that it just stays wrinkly and it’s hard to get the wrinkles to come out so it makes it look messy when laid out on a bed. Which is unfortunate for me Because I’m using it for an Airbnb

The best comforter I ever had was a white alternative down similar to this, that I used at home all year round, (and our weather is all of them, 0-100f), so that is what I wanted again. I bought this for my new (to me) camper, and can't wait to snuggle in at some campsite. It was squished pretty tight in the box but seems to be regular size after it gets some air. It feels super soft and looks great. Yes the color is true, but I still thought it would be more of a lighter, paler yellow, and I bought sheets that were yellow and gray at a Big store that has Lots of items. They do match, but the yellow of the blanket is a little more gold than the sheets. That's the pillowcases on the bed. I might set up 4 pillows, not sure yet. Anyway, it's definitely a nice comforter! Snuggle city!

I like the overall feel, weight, and temperature of this duvet insert. It does not have any weird odors. However, it sheds thousands and thousands of feathers. It doesn’t stop. The description states they’re quill free but they poke you and are so uncomfortable. I was going to try and return it but it was outside of my return window.
