    • Don't buy!!
As an avid Android user and someone who believed in Google for a very long time, I had the Google pixel 3, 4 , 5. Then went to Samsung.Now I have the Google pixel 8 pro and I reassure you. This phone is absolutely terrible from the AI assist all the way down to the basic functions. As far as the background on your screen, do not buy this phone, you will regret it. That is 100% guarantee Google has drop the ball significantly as of this point. I'm so disappointed in them as a company. It's not even funny. But anyways yeah don't buy the Google pixel. It sucks. Like you literally can't have a normal background on your phone because it zooms in on every photo and there's no way to revert it and they still haven, fixed it, The layout structure is so bad that I literally use a third-party application "Nova" to have as my settings and my layout cuz of how dumb Google set it up. I just can't believe how many people have complained about it and they still haven't done anything. I just wish chat gtp would make a phone at this point. Rant over. Don't buy ... show more

Unlike the other reviewer, I actually have the phone. Their problems are human error and honestly nitpicking from a "techy" standpoint. This phone is leaps and bounds ahead of the pixel 8 which was already a great phone. The battery is fantastic. I've had every pixel since the brand came out and that was usually one of the problems. It's fixed finally here. Cameras are still fantastic. This is the one to buy if you're looking for a phone that just "works" like any iPhone. ... show more
