I am loving the Pixel 6 pro. I see a lot of reviews talking about bugs but I have not encountered any significant bugs so far with my phone. It was worked wonderfully from day 1. The 20X zoom you get with the telephoto lens on this thing is the true champion though. It's incredible how close you can get to some objects that are super far away. Want to get a picture of the top of a roller coaster as it goes over the hill? Easy. A picture of a crustacean on the beach from 20 paces? Child's play. The camera setup is phenomenal and the post processing on the photos truly makes everything pop. The editing suite is pretty great too, automatically face sharpening in blurry photos and the HDR is immaculate. The battery last all day no matter how much I use it and it does everything I could ask of a phone. I recommend this phone for anybody. It's a pleasure to own and use. ... show more

Can't believe sometimes the 256GB version of this phone is being sold at around 300 dollars! Completely a steal if you ask me. I upgraded from a OnePlus8 and I couldn't be any happier! The screen is super smooth, even at 60hz, the upgrade from Android12 to Android13 was okay, and just in general I'm so happy with my decision to upgrade to the Pixel 6 Pro for this price point. My only complaint would probably be that this is a little too big for my hand, and that the USB A to USB C cable that came with the refurbished product didn't actually work for my phone. ... show more

I traded in my 4A for the 6 Pro, I didn't want the plain 6 because the screen is too small for me. I had major adjustments when I switched from my 3XL to the 4A because the screen was so much smaller. I miss the fingerprint reader on the back of the 4A though. This one is on the front of the screen and it's harder to use and seems harder to work. The battery seems to run out fairly quickly, my son did some tweaking to remove some things, but the battery still runs out fairly quickly if I'm using the phone. Mine was backordered, but it was well worth the long wait! The Cloudy White version is beautiful, and just the right size for my palm. As a previous Pixel 3XL user, I've already accustomed to Android 12 and its quirk, so the Pixel 6 Pro feels very natural to use.

    • Disappointing camera, battery life and awful Bluetooth

As a former Google Pixel user who had made the switch to iPhone, I was looking forward to the Pixel 6 Pro bringing me back into the Android fold. On paper, it seemed like a winning formula. The reality is that Google missed the boat on this phone’s feature set. For reference, I was using an iPhone 12 Mini before buying the Pixel 6 Pro. When I received the phone, I charged it and set it up. I was excited to be on Android again! The reality set in the moment I played my first song on my connected Bluetooth headset: the audio quality was TERRIBLE. I tried different headsets, fiddled with settings on the phone, but nothing would make the music audio quality sound better. The audio was very thin, and my connection would cut in and out every 20 seconds. On top of this, with nothing installed except for my favorite media player, my standby battery life was worse than my previous phone, and the photo quality and color vibrance was also worse. Long story short: I returned my Pixel 6 Pro and went back to my iPhone 12 Mini. I had none of these problems with that phone. ... show more

    • Heats up dangerously - customer service unhelpful and sluggish

This is a dengerous product. From day one it heated up tremendeously when in use - causing the phone to be unbareable to hold and to use. It had to shut off in the middle of video calls and regular use - completely unreasonably. The battery is short and gets shorter with heat and use. When reaching out to customer service for help - after slugglish weeks of communication (all documented) they finally agreed to an exchange - but only of I send my phone out first, and wait for at least 10 days for an exchange phone. No one on the planet earth can live without a phone, and I had also needed to be able to tranfer all of my contacts and apps to a new one - but google would not give me a creative solution, and sent me back to amazon. In conclusion - I would not buy this phone again and wish that google would stand behind their products and clients. ... show more

I really wanted to like this phone, but I can't recommend it. I love technology and admire the innovation of the Google pixel. I used to have the 3XL but changed to an iphone 11pro for more reliability (better battery, better text message translation, better app support). Then I saw the Google pixel 6pro. I LOVE the innovative design, but this phone is not reliable. I barely get through a day with one charge even when I use battery saver mode and dim brightness. I've also had issues with getting signal with this phone, I didn't have issues with my previous iPhone but now I get messages later than they are sent to me and that makes my job and life a bit more difficult. I'm extremely disappointed because I expected better battery life and the reviews were good on this phone. I hope Google does better, but the lack of battery life has me considering getting the iPhone 14max! Apple just does it all so well! I hate to admit it! I'm still a Google fan, but I cannot support this phone at this time. I have a full time job and I'm out all day, it's inconvenient to have to depend on connecting to a charger three times a day. It's sad that an ipad costs just as much, if not less than this phone and has far better battery life than this phone. ... show more

To all pixel users, don't bother on the negative reviews. This is great pixel upgrade. Camera is superb produces great shots everytime. Battery can be improved but this pixel still got the best battery of all pixels. I haven't face issues with fingerprint reader, just register ur finger twice and it will be fast, problem solved. Consider buying cloudy white, finger prints not noticeable like the stormy black ones. ... show more
