These were not made of the elastic material that I'm used to seeing. The fabric was so thin with little to no elasticity. I would not recommend and would not buy again. Just buy from Walmart where you can feel the material before buying.

I wear headbands only when I'm washing my face over the bathroom sink. My last trio of Goody headbands stretched out after several years of daily use, so I bought this trio as a replacement, even though it is not identical to the ones I used to wear. Sadly, I think the ones I had are now discontinued. These new ones are soft and comfortable, but I find the elastic is a little too loose and stretchy. Yes, they'll hold my bangs back for the thirty seconds it takes me to wash my face, but I don't feel these headbands would be tight enough or wide enough to hold back hair for a long period of time. It doesn't help either that the material is so satiny. My last set of Goody headbands had a textured feel to them so that they were less likely to shift while sitting on my head. Wearing these new headbands makes me feel like I tore up a satin pillowcase into thin strips and tied them onto my head. That silky feeling is nice but it's not conducive to staying put. I don't want to return these, as they were cheap and I don't mind using them for a few days while I shop for something better to take their place.

I can't stand anything tight on my head. Countless hard and soft headbands have been relegated to the back of the drawer because I could not stand how they squeezed my head. Do I have a big head? Maybe, or maybe I'm just sensitive to pressure on my scalp. Can you relate? These headbands are super stretchy. And they are so affordable. I decided to try these because even if I decided they were not for me, I would have spent so much less than all the money I've spent previosly on headbands I cannot wear for more than a few minutes. "What's the big deal?", you might ask. I have a piece of hair that always falls in my face, so I need a headband. Yet, I can't stand to have anything on my head. Repeat, repeat. Hence the conundrum. These modest little headbands were my solution. Might they be yours?

These are just what I've been looking for, they are the same that I bought years ago and the quality is still as good. I use these to pull my hair back from my face when washing it , if I need to put a bit of makeup on or when I just want to keep my hair out of my face with something that's comfortable which these are. They are stretchy enough to fit well but not too stretchy as to fall off , they stay put. They fit my head perfectly and I would consider my head to be of normal size for a woman. The 3 pack I received had 3 colors which were 1-Black , 1-Navy Blue and 1-Gray all great basic colors, I machine washed them and let them dry overnight over a hanger , they didn't shrink. I am very satisfied with these Goody headbands, exactly the ones I was looking for. BTW: They are not child's sized , maybe the ones that stated that have BIG heads !

I bought these to keep my hair off my face in this 90 degree heat. The material is slippery, and this just doesn’t stay on my head. I will attempt to run it through the washing machine and dryer to see if it shrinks a little. That being said, for $3.00 I should have known better.
