This is my fourth Grand Way knife. This knife is well made and well worth the money, Now let’s get to safety. This knife is NOT spring activated. In Massachusetts where I live Amazon will not ship them because “switchblades” are illegal here. The knife in my photo has a different design . Look at the photo. The pen is pointing to the lock mechanism. It is a circular toothed gear. It is beveled so it won’t cut your finger when you push it to the left side . Then using your other hand close the knife blade and release the gear which will lock the closed blade. This requires the user to have some strength, manual dexterity, and good vision . So I can’t recommend this knife to everyone. And that said- it’s a great jackknife!

A very good knife...it is sharp, looks good, easy to carry. It is also a neat little folding knife that you can carry with you for your safety and other needs. It folds, which is nice. But closing the knife after opening it is tricky, until you figure it out. I literally struggled for a long time until I got it. See the 2nd pic? That cerrated piece inside the knife? You have to push it to the left to be able to close the blade, else there is now way you can close the blade. Now you know. Have fun with it, and try using it for good deeds! Like scaring away a moron who may try to mug you or something. That, to me, is a very good deed!!!

I ordered this in pink and I absolutely love it. I carry it in my purse since it's not crazy big. It seems pretty sharp and would actually be a good gift for a friend or sister. It wasn't too expensive and is easy to open and close. Thankfully I haven't had to use it but good to know I have it. It also has a seat belt cutter so that's pretty cool. All in all a durable well made knife.

The media could not be loaded. Great knife nicely made not made out of garbage nice 440C steel. Not so heavy and has a strong clip that stays in your pocket. Nice design and grips to your hand. Highly recommended for the price and quality.

I keep it in my car. It has a built in seat belt cutter and glass breaker. Don't plan on ever using these features but it's nice knowing they're available. Comes with a belt clip too, it's small enough that you won't notice you're carrying it.

Purchased 2 … 1 springs open when attached with clip. It opened several times and blade cut through jeans. The mechanism used to open blade is defective. The blade on the #2 has not opened as of this date. Good product … weight, use.
