I was using this product a while back but I stopped due to not seeing any changes with the removal of dark spots!! I decided to give it another try since I found the toner of the same brand to use along with it. Let's hope there are changes with my hyperpigmentation. I love the fact that it is moisturising; you can use a tiny drop and rub it all over your face. It is not sticky and the smell is okay. Nothing horrible to your nose. I see this serving me for a good time. I won't be heavy-handed with it. It's not even a week since I'm usuing it with the good molecules toner so I am waiting until a month or so to see results. I bought this just the other day and I’m impressed it really does what it’s advertised to do I suffer with bad hyperpigmentation and within a couple day it’s already cleared up amazingly. My skin has evened out great and although still some dark spots it’s only been a few days. I struggle with post-inflammatory erythema which leaves red dots on my skin for months (sometimes years!) after even the smallest of pimples. I normally use the ordinary niacinamide 10% + zinc 1% serum to target that but I wanted to try something new and something that uses other actives outside of niacinamide. This was cheap and had good reviews so I had hope, but it was just fine. I don’t have any progress photos to show but I didn’t notice any noticeable difference in redness in the four months that I used this product. This would be fine (maybe it takes longer to see a difference with this product) except my usual niacinamide serum is able to target my redness much better in the same time frame. For that reason, I won’t repurchase. Aside from its slow efficacy, I loved the texture of it! It was quite watery and dried on the skin well. It didn’t leave any tacky feeling and made my skin glow SO much! My skin was shining in such a healthy way every time I used this product. I found that it was even a bit hydrating too. I would recommend the ordinary serum over this one, however, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t a great product! I honestly didn't expect much from this because I'm nearly 49 and I've had sun damage for years. There is one spot just below my right eye that has been there for at least 20 years. I grew up in the 80's when being in the sun, sans sunscreen, was the thing to do. I had many many bad sunburns, over the years, and my skin is really starting to show it. Anyway, I decided it's time I REALLY start taking care of my skin, so I ordered this, since the price was right and the reviews were mostly good. The first thing I noticed about it is, unlike other skin fading products, it doesn't burn! I mean not at ALL! I'm almost finished with the 1st bottle and just ordered another one. I have used this, consistently, at least twice a day. I put it on and let it completely dry before adding any other products. Sometimes I'll put it on before and after my moisturizer. That may be a bit excessive, but, most of my dark spots have faded by at least 50%. It has been most effective on the newer dark spots, but the stubborn spot under my right eye is smaller and a LOT lighter! I'll continue using this product as long as it is making a difference. I highly recommend it! It's almost too good to be true that an affordable item that is actually gentle on the skin actually works!
