I have eczema which causes me to have very dry skin. I have been using this for 3 weeks and only had 1 breakout which I don’t think correlated. I did go in with extra moisturizer on top of the moisturizer that is included.

I’ve been trying to get my skincare routine to a place where it feels… manageable. Not a 10-step science experiment, not a drawer full of half-used products, just something that works and that I’ll actually stick to. That’s what made this set appealing to me, especially since I’ve had good experiences with Good Molecules before. First thing I noticed right out of the box… these are all full-size products. Not those tiny “this will last you three uses if you blink slowly” minis. That alone made it feel like you’re actually getting your money’s worth. Using everything together has been really easy, and the products layer nicely without turning your face into a sticky mess. That’s a big deal for me because I cannot stand when skincare leaves that tacky feeling where your hair starts sticking to your face like it’s trying to move in permanently. None of that here. Everything absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling clean, hydrated, and comfortable. The cleanser is probably one of my favorites in the set. It has a soft gel texture that lathers just enough to feel like it’s doing something, but it doesn’t strip your skin or leave it feeling tight. My face just feels balanced afterward, which is honestly all I want from a cleanser. The niacinamide toner has that lightweight, almost watery feel, but you can tell it’s doing more than just sitting there. Over time my skin looks a little more even and calm, and it layers really well without any heaviness. The hyaluronic acid serum is exactly what I want in a hydrating step. It sinks in quickly, doesn’t leave that weird film some serums do, and just gives my skin that soft, plump look without feeling greasy. The eye gel is one of those quiet overachievers. It’s lightweight, refreshing, and helps me look a little more awake than I actually am, which I will never complain about. No irritation, no heaviness, just a nice little boost. And the moisturizer ties everything together. It’s light, non-greasy, and doesn’t sit on top of the skin. It just seals everything in without making your face feel like it’s coated in anything. Across the board, the scent is very neutral. Nothing overpowering, nothing lingering, which I personally prefer. It just smells clean and simple without trying too hard. Quality-wise, everything feels thoughtfully made, especially for the price point. The packaging is simple but functional, and I really like that they’re transparent about their ingredients and percentages. It makes it feel less like marketing and more like they actually expect you to care about what you’re using. As a full routine, this set just makes sense. It covers everything you need without overcomplicating things, and the products actually work well together instead of fighting each other. For around $50, the value is honestly solid. You’re getting five full-size products that perform well, feel good on the skin, and don’t come with the usual downsides like stickiness, heaviness, or strong fragrance. Overall, this is one of those sets that makes skincare feel easy again. And my skin has definitely been happier since I started using it.

I've been a fan of Good Molecules products ever since I discovered them about six months ago. I've purchased several products from them since then, including their squalane oil, retinol night oil, and gentle retinol cream. All have been wonderful while also being extremely affordable, and my skin seems to really love their products, so I was excited to give this set a try, too. You get a set of five items which comprise an entire skincare routine (minus sunscreen). The hydrating cleanser is a gel. You don't need much at all to cover the entire face. The scent is fresh and light (maybe citrusy?), and it rinses cleanly, leaving my face feeling refreshed. The niacinamide toner is a wonderful formulation of ingredients that work in synergy to regulate oil, minimize pore appearance, inhibit melanin production, and reduce hyperpigmentation. Next up is the hyaluronic acid serum. Hyaluronic acid is a wonderful base that preps the skin to retain moisture and better absorb any products you use afterward. This is a clear, medium weight serum that is scent-free. It spreads very easily, so again, you don't need to use a whole lot, and it leaves the skin feeling soft and plumped. It also leaves a tackiness on the skin that lasts for maybe 10-15 minutes, so if you're planning to apply makeup after this routine, leave time for the serum to sink in. Fourth, I use the yerba mate eye gel. This is one of those tubes where you poke the metal lid open with the pointy part of the cap, so be careful, because the gel will come out quickly as soon as you do that. This gel contains ingredients to both reduce puffiness and plump fine lines. It feels lovely and refreshing under and around the eyes, but again, this is a product that is sticky after application and remains sticky for 20-30 minutes. Once the tackiness disappears, it leaves my skin feeling very soft and nourished. Last of all is the lightweight daily moisturizer. This again has no scent (every product in this set is scent-free with the exception of the cleanser) and goes on lightly and evenly. In my opinion, it's a true lightweight formula, which I appreciate for daytime use. I use tretinoin, so I need a dense, heavy moisturizer for nighttime use, so this does not work for me as an overnight product, but it's fantastic for the day. It leaves no heavy residue, only soft and smooth skin. I'm 57, so I have mature skin that's on the dry side, but I feel that this set would work for any type of skin, because it's light and gentle. My skin can be reactive, but I've had no negative effects from any of these products (or any of products I've tried from this brand). You get five full sized products for $49.85 before the 10% off brand promotion currently available, and I think that's a phenomenal deal for a clean, minimal ingredient, high-quality complete skincare set such as this. I'm thrilled with it!
