My daughter looooooves these skates. They fit her normal shoe size. She has hardly taken them off since Christmas and no blisters or complaints of discomfort. The smell is my only complain. Extremely stinky. I left them in my shed to air out for weeks, wiped them down with disinfectant wipes, and had dryer sheets tucked in and on them which made the scent much less noticeable. But if you are close or in an inclosed space I can still smell them slightly. Even with the smell, I would buy them again. Just wish there was something they would do about the smell since that has been a common complaint. ... show more

Christmas present for my daughter who loves to skate and is growing. Sadly, the construction is poor...very poor. They've a plastic outer lip which is sewn into the fabric of the toe of the skates. It easily comes loose and apart. My daughter has had these less than a month and I've already resorted to gaffe tape to keep them from completely coming apart (until Daddy can get her a new pair). Granted, she does skate everyday, however, I'd like to think they'd at least last 3-4 moths, even with poor quality. - Update 02/21: Seller reached out and shipped some new skates. Which is fantastic. They're the same pair of skates so it doesn't make the skates any better, but it's remarkable the seller stepped up to the plate on this. Thank you so much.
